Strainly.io - sort of a social seedbank

Thought I would share my experience with Strainly.io (just google the name). Was recommended by a friend who started breeding his seeds and loved the concept. It's a sort of a social-seedbank where members connect to share (trade, give away, sell) their strains.

Selection: 500+ strains including Landrace and Heirlooms, Dutch Passion, ACE Seeds, Cannarado Genetics, InHouse Army, Bodhi, SeedJunky Genetics, Symbiotic Genetics, and many boutique breeders. Seeds, Clones and Pollen.

Price: Usually good value but some quite highly priced listings based on rarity.

Service: Dealt with 2 members who were very serious. Looking at feedback comments, most members seem legit. Service from Strainly admins is very responsive.

Stealth Rating: Got seeds and clones from 2 different members. Both were quite creative, even for the clones.

Would you order from the same bank again: YES. Probably going to order only from that site now.

Other Comments: Very interesting concept. I love the fact that you can leave feedback to other members you deal with, which helps with avoiding scammers. Feels legit and safe. I only wish they would offer integrated payment method.

No selling or giving away of goods unless you have an advertiser account.
guys... is everyone posting seedbank reviews an advertiser ? I'm sharing my experience... wtf
so this review section is not for actual fair and objective reviews, it's disguised paid ads... or I'm missing something...

if i had extra seeds and wanted to give them away i can't because it's against the rules. same with your seedbank review... it cuffs the rules .all of the seedbank reviews here are mostly paid advertisers or breeders that supply them.

here's the deal. if a seedbank starts screwing people over the admins will post NOT to do business with said seedbank. Now on your social media seedbank everything may seem fine till that one person starts screwing people over for a profit. are w e now to start a database of users not to do business with? that seems like allot of keeping up with. it's easier to have said website not listed here..... get what i mean?

Thanks! makes sense now!
Was not obvious that positive reviews were actually paid ads...

Well nothing to complain about with Strainly... but I'm not a paid advertiser

sorry

did trade deal, went without a hitch. Have bought some and went without a hitch. Only prob I have is Im not a phone guy, so I don't want to use some of the apps they want to use for payment. Know of a couple guy done clone deals, went without hitch. It pays to look at the reviews and I don't know who said you pay for reviews, but thats simply not true in my case. I have met some asses over there also and there seems to be a deal, not a scam per se, but some of the vendors one week will have someone elses strains the next, or last weeks strains under one breeder be under a diff one the next week. Some do say they are vending on their pages for others, so you just have to do some vigilent research as much as you can and take that chance. I see a great place for a small legit craftsman to ply his trade and wares from there and be easy peasy. No middleman, etc. jmho

I have to add, a free sampler from the green mustache or tgm genetics or whatever, his hulk boogers cross is one of the frostiest plants I got right now, small sativish and frosty. FWIW

Yeah, I did, they are working on it. They have temporarily blocked his account until he gets back to them. They say that the reviews he had were genuine. So I'm hoping for a resolution, but not optimistic. I mean, in their defense, I understand what they're trying to do and it's inevitable that you're going to get some scammers on the site here and there. I guess I just had a bad first transaction

It's strange, the tracking number he sent was not in the USPS system this morning, and after I contacted strainly, they contacted him and he gave them the tracking number and now it is in the system. The guy just completely cut off communication after he received my tracking number and when I checked his tracking number it wasn't in the system but now it is. It's strange I guess it was my mistake

Oh my God, strainly admin are such pieces of shit. Now they've accused me of being a scammer. I legitimately send what I said I sent, three packs of Green Point seeds, and it is currently in the mail. Apparently, they don't think I had a legitimate reason to be concerned when as soon as the other trader received my tracking number he dropped off the face of the Earth for 24 hours when he had responded to every one of my messages before that within 5 minutes. Also, when I checked the tracking number he gave me this morning it was not in the USPS system. But, strainly, actually calling me a scammer is the last straw. Fuck them. When this guy receives my package on Monday and it has in it what I said it has in it I'm going to go off on them like there's no tomorrow. And I will be sure to let everyone know about it
