lol i do research bro but youre just bashing a breeder. Whats your point? I've had 5 years good experiences with them so what does that make your point? Just told you if you cant add info about the strain and want to just bash a breeder. Go stary another thread and dont waste my time.

If your happy with them happy days for you. I don't bash or hate on anyone I'm giving my opinion on bad experiences I've had with them the same as breeders I've had good experiences with. Il post what I want it's a forum if you don't like it just ignore it don't winge about it like a 12 year old was just trying to help you out

Thanks chris. Its looking good. Smelling good. Appreciate the thoughts. Cottee youre not helping anyone out by bashing a breeder you dont like. Just because you like a prime rib from Montanas doesn't make a big-mac from McD any less delicious. Sorry i dont have interest to hear about why you dont like Barneys..or even care. I just found your opening post generic. That's all. The 12 year old remark though. That was good lol guess i deserve that for telling a 5 year old if hes got nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all. :p

The Acapulco Gold has picked up a wicked lemon flavor too. Super sour/skunky. Together they take the breathe away. Going to attempt a grow journal side-by-side Canuk Blueberry vs. Blueberry OG from Barney. Scrog style.. Thatll be coming in February-March. Hope you guys all give feedback and get some dialogue going. Cottee what beans you doing?...i know it isnt Barneys. :p

lol was doing DNA skywalker kush for a couple of years. They were good. Getting cosistant results with them with yield and quality but the quality of them over the last 4 months has gone down drastically. Fuck knows what's happened I have no idea about breeeding but I'm guessing one of the parents died or something because they,ve changed. Was hunting for some other strains on the side though. Done DNA golden lemons. Wasn't impressed at all. Serious bubblegum aswell but wasn't a good seller either. People are fussy as fuck there days everyone wants that sticky stinky dense shit or there not interested! Came across karma and gave them ago. Done there sour power OG and there head stash. Was impressed by both. The Sour power had were great. Maybe 3 runts from 30 seeds and the rest were healthy. Quality and yield were good and everyone loved it. The headstash were not as uniform. 3 from 6 were decent in veg so tossed the other 3 but the 3 I kept were one of the best I've ever grown. Keeping the sour power Og and headstash going but I'm also planting up up some sour lemonaid and atomic sour from dank gentetics in Jan. I've got high hopes.

Decent Cottee. There's a few other breeders i want to try. But, I do get interested to see what Barneys mixes up. I just snapped these shots today of the ol' girl...
Just started week 6. Its messed up but it smells like a fruit dish my grandmother always had on her kitchen table. We will see if that changes. Haha. Speaking of changes. Ive decided to postpone my scrog plans for blueberry comparisons. My grow journal will start shortly after this grow because i am finishing a room in my basement. Nothing fancy. 15x8 though. Should hold room for veg, flower and a dry/cure cabinet. Waiting to get some seal ordered and lumber. So stay tuned for that. :)

Barney's farm has produced MANY cup plants over the years...That dude 'Derry' travelled all over collecting the best landrace varieties for breeding stock...VERY serious about the quality of the strains they release and the list right now has MANY insanely potent varieties...
I have their new Peyote Critical 3 days out of their shells....EVERY seed cracked and all are very strong and homogenous looking....It their limited release cross of Peyote Purple and Critical mass...They got a Peyote Cookies too....I ALMOST bought some of their Blueberry OG being a Blueberry fan, so I cant wait to hear your opinion on the beautiful specimen you have...I ended up opting for the Peyote Critical since I have an Old School Blueberry in the nursery....there are knuckleheads on every forum...99% of the time they are frustrated growers who cant get it right and HATE seeing someone with a BEAUTIFUL plant like yours...Misery loves company....Great job!!!!..YT

I hear yah man. This is not my first strain from them and it is pure-class plant. Blueberry shows promise. This plant didnt grow through intense training. 0 topping. Lst-training bare minimum compared to other grows and was given 4gal. Potting soil and a minimal nute treatment. Looking forward to trying it. Halfway through week 6 now I've cut back on nutes by 50% and will start flushing and pull it at end of week 8..maybe extra for lower buds.. Somewhere between 56-65 day anyways. The trichs are looking amazing. Hairs turning. Love these signs. Love 'em.

greenhouse, serious seed , th seed , bc seed etc all of them won many cup , but quality is not the same from before i had personally horrible experience with barneys farm (that 5 pack of liberty haze that ruined an entire grow) and the other mentioned above , some were decent and good but nothing like what they sell in the cofee shop in dam wich are the winner cut, i too get on the hype of cup winning strain but except gg#4 and kosher kush nothing to keep in my garden , just deception...

I hope you guys don't mind, sorry to jump in, i don't want to hijack the op's post but i have just started a blueberry og in the hope i can squeeze some seed from her with colloidal silver, have you tried to grow one yet ?

I have used colloidal silver to make seeds a few times but NOT with any Blueberry....it would most likely open up a gene pool and you would get some variations, some being WAY outside of a properly bred blueberry.....I am sure you could get some pretty potent plants but breeding seeds for specific traits such as a good blueberry pheno, involves having the right plants to start with.....The best True Blueberry comes from Regular seeds meaning there are specific MALE pollen donors....there ARE feminized versions that are decent... Still a lot of fun and you could possibly get lucky and find a great plant....worse that can happen is having a good time making seeds..YT

I had a good experience with Barney's Critical Kush and LSD. The CK lived up to the rep for being a heavy producer, I remember a couple of forearm sized colas and more than a couple of snapped branches. And the LSD was impressive too, one of the more potent strains I'd grown up to that point, although it's been several years since and I've grown a few that maybe surpass it, but it had a stone that seemed to just last forever, lol.

I've made a list (that keeps getting longer) of all the best strains I'd like to grow again, but every time I turn around there seems to be something new/better to explore. Guess when I retire I'll grow me a big outdoor garden with my top 10 favorite strains (although by that time it may grow to 15+ ;?)

Thats what i figured, i've had some luck with strawberry blue in the past managed to get some pollen and dusted a lemon kush with it, i got some strrrrrange and wonderful plants plus some gristly tasteless shite from the seeds which did surprisingly all produce females.

Crossing your best females is ALWAYS FUN....crossing with strains with VERY SPECIFIC traits (like bluberry) is hard unless you have the original donors.....
My best plant EVER, was a AK47 reversal put into a special Silver Pearl....It had less than a 100% stretch and stayed under 2.5ft, BUT would carry 6 oz on a prunned plant with 6 tops.....I grew it for close to 7 yrs, cause it was better than both the AK47 and the Silver Pearl parents....if your just looking for something different and you cross a cpl of your best plants, you most likely will find a keeper or two....never know, you may find the next great strain....it might be easy to stablize too...there are quite of few famous strains that were not 'engineered' by breeders, but were just phenotypes of common strains that had special traits...There are even a cpl that evolved from found BAG SEEDS...the original Gorilla glue was an accidental hermaphrodite pollination from Sour D and I think a Chem dawg...So, you never know what a cpl good female can produce!!!!...YT
