Neo, have a safe trip

Haven't been doing too much but going out to dinner with a different friend of my wife's every night. They pretty much fight on who gets to take us out when. They're putting underground walkways at this busy intersection down the hill from my wife's house and have been shutting off the water and electricity so intermittently that we decided to just stay at the hotel indefinitely. $1200 for a month not bad really. We would have spent half that on coal at the house anyways. Haven't taken too many pictures as we've not done much yet. Here's a couple from around the house. The door is a pic I have to get every time. For some reason I just find it so beautiful, mysterious, enchanting. I don't know. I'm a crazy person.

Well I guess that's the only pic for now. Uploader is being fucky.
Not crazy, I see the same things you do in the picture. Awesome !

All visitors in China have to register with the state within 24 hours of entering the country. If you stay at a hotel, the hotel will just do it for you. But since we're staying at my wife's house in the boonies we have to go to the local police station and register there.
Wow, you had to register. You must be going to stay for a while?

Does anyone live in that eco-town, or is it Knotts Berry Farm? I do like the totem poles, nice touch
I don't think people live there but I could be wrong. The store owners might live upstairs. I'm not sure I guess. It was only about half complete. There was another foot bridge that looked complete but wasn't opened yet going to a completely different side of the mountain. You might be able to see it in the previous pic.
