What up auto growers and stoners. Well my 2nd grow is gonna happen quicker than I thought due to me winning a bid on a Growstar 1000 watt led I forgot I even bid on and ended up winning. So here's where I'm at.
1. Soil ck ( made my own for 1st grow did well so gonna use it )
2. Seeds ck ( 2 White LSD, 2 Lemon Haze from MSNL and 3 Tangie Matic from Fast Buds )
3. Room is complete and is 44 x 44 x 9 ft white roof seal 95% reflective ( so they say )
4. Nutes same as 1st grow adjust as needed
5.https://www.ebay.com/itm/Growstar-1000W-LED-Grow-Light-Full-Spectrum-for-Dense-Flowers for 1 light

Here's what I cant decide on first the size of the pots. Fastbuds says for max yield from the Tangie you should use 11 to 13 gallon pots I'm thinking 10 gallon. MSNL states their 2 are bigger than your normal autos so I'm thinking at least 5 gallon if not 7 gallon for these. You can say gonna see if pot size matters since I have the space for at least 6 ft for height maybe more.

Next is my extra lighting. Here's the 2 I want to choose from but open to ideas.

Thx for taking time to read and reply

Viparspectra is better than Roleadro simply because Roleadro uses cheap drivers that create a helluva lot of am radio interference, Viparspectra doesn't. I've been experimenting with different led's in different tents, the Roleadros while not doing too bad prevented all atomic clocks within a hundred yard radius from getting their am radio signals to sync the time.

So Vipars are decent? I choose the Mars II over Vipar for my 1st grow, I will look at them again if you say their OK Been wanting to try Bloombeast or Maxsisun lights just not lots of reviews and I'm still learning.1 thing I didn't mention is I'll also have 600 to 800 watts CFL's also on this grow

I know I'm a newbie but if growing Autos I'll always use CFLs for supplemental lighting mixed Kelvins for veg and 2700 Kelvins for flower. When I grow my 3 Bears OG I'm gonna experiment with running full lighting 20 hrs with main light source down for 4 hrs to cool down temps but have to have some sort of light for 24 hrs due to using co2

@ Rolla J & @ Kerovan Thanks for your input. I made decision to use the BESTVA light.
I made the choice to use this light because I won Ebay auction and got 1 for $52.50 and the same seller has them for $119 so I offered $100 ( Amazon match price ) for 2nd light so if they accept offer will have $ 152.50 in both lights or $171.50 for both. Plus the total length of the 3 lights will go across my room and I'll have 1/2 to spare, thought this was cool. So I'll have 1240 watts between the 3 LEDs plus 600 to 800 watt CFLs so lights CHK

Those led's are only 130W, they are very weak. I don't know what cfl's you have, but I doubt that they are 600-800W also. You need to look at real wattage of all lights, not fake advertised wattage.

Thx, I was just adding the numbers but understand what you're saying. I'm still learning all this wattage stuff.

That's for an OUTDOOR grow. 7 will be more than enough indoor. 5 will be better.

Thx I saw that last night and was actually thinking of doing 7s for all plants and adding Mexican Airlines to make total of 8. Will 5s allow for max growth since these are Sativa strains gonna let them go max time. Would you use fabric pots? On 1st grow just went to local nursery and got plastic 3s

5 gal Fabrics have done fine with all my soil Auto grows. When I grow CoCo I use 3's.

It looks like something I would like to try. It has a good mix of Cree led's, so that's a good thing. The spectrum chart looks good. It might be a decent light, the price is very good for Cree chips. If I would have seen it a couple of months ago I would have, but I've spent all the money I should this season on other lights.

I'm deciding on 2 of those or 2 Maxisusn 450 or 2 450 Viparspectra. In reviews it did say something about the heat. I'm still gonna use the BESTVA's also as my supplemental lights running them 24 hrs and the other 3 for 18 to 20 hrs. I'm trying to get all this together by the next week or 2 so can have them going b4 New year

These might be more reliable than the Viparspectra's because of the Cree chips. A lot of people in this forum hate Viparspectra and all other cheap chinese led's in general. A lot of them have never even used them though, I believe most are just parroting the hate because they read it. My viparspectra grow is doing just as good as my HTG Quantum grow currently. I cannot say for sure how well it is going to do though until the grows are over and the flowers harvested. I would be inclined to try the Hipargero I think. If you go with something like the Viparspectras or other cheap leds don't go lower than what they call the 600's, 260 true watts.

When I bid on the BESTVA only looked at light wattage lol. I've got them now so have to use them and really think the will work well as supplemental lights. Thx to you I know now to look for actual wattage. Since you know a little more than I ck these out almost bought them b4 I won the Growstar and still may try them just because of 5 year warranty. https://www.amazon.com/Spectrum-B400-Marijuana-Hydroponics-Greenhouse/dp/B075GYB1QL/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1512342939&sr=8-7&keywords=bloombeast+led+grow+light

That is a very good warranty and return policy, IF they actually honor it. I haven't seen anybody else offer that kind of warranty or return policy, that's for sure. I honestly don't know what to say about them.
