Yes it does. Used to run one on a galaxy

You didnt post a proper link there ass hat. When googled the first thing that poped up was a galaxy ballast being sold with an offbrand 630 lamp. Yes i did see a 1000w lfsw ballast when i kept looking but i already know there are other lfsw 620 ballasts on the market also. Posted a few pages back that my store is coming out with one similar to the growers chouce 630 with an adjustable reflecter.
I was making sure anyone new to the thred dosnt assume a ballast marketed as working with cmh lamps are square wave.
that's why I said to google it cock breath

Did you read what you quoted. I did google it. Lots of different things came up so i made sure to inform that not all ballasts that fire the lamp will give the same results and you get all but hurt. Calm down smoke one and move on. Dont take it so personaly. You act like said you dont know what your talking abought. In the future post a link and ya wont have that problem

CMH bulbs have been around for some time and many of them run on mechanical ballast. interesting that people are just now discovering that they work great for growing plants.I think cannabis growers are in for a big surprise when they see how well a true full spectrum light grows plants and the quality of product it produces.in my situation T5s work well for me but I do use specialty bulbs to fine tune the spectrum. have been looking into building a pare of 250 watt cmh fixtures for my flowering room.using the GE colormax of spxx cmh bulb.I have been growing for a few years but I'm still learning. use to believe the conventional wisdom that organic growing did not produce as well as chemical grows but 5 weeks into flowering on my first completely organic grow I am very impressed with the size of my buds and the amount of tricombs. never a good ideal to fall in love with your lights or growing practices. no matter how good you think you are there is always room for improvement.

Hi guys i have suffered with issues with heat for 2 years now and all though i love my HPS they have to go my question is regarding yield what is the Maximum you can squeeze out of one these lights. and would six in 2.4 x 2.4 x 2 (Meter Tent) stay under 28 degrees the same tent struggles to stay under 32 degrees with 4 HPS running in it. I understand Yield would depend on conditions but if conditions were optimal or can anyone tell me what there dry weight has been using these .

oh and there was no popcorn. using a mainline
22oz From 1 light is impressive mate. roughly how long was the grow 4 weeks veg 8 weeks flower ( standard ?) So i did a fair bit reading the past 2 days across a few different forums and most of what i read suggested the 315 CMH was equivalent of 500 HPS maybes even 400 HPS but i not many growers can get 20 zips from 600 so would you say if i knew what i was doing and my conditions were optimal 4 of the 315s could give 80 zips over a 12 week period ?

Again i use a 630 not a 315 but the veg was 7- 8 weeks from seed and 55 days flower. Dont think 4 315s will get 80oz. closer to 40 oz. If your running hydro and co2 maby 50oz. Mine was an organic grow in a tent. Currently im in a sealed room running my 630 in a hydro coco grow and co2. Hoping for 30 this run
