i just made my first batch of cannabutter. 1.8oz of nice trim and popcorn buds, 1 pound unsalted butter. Cooked on the barbecue at 200-230 for 6 hours. Now my question is do I follow the recipe on the box of brownie mix and use the same amount of butter or am I going to kill my friends and myself... any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

I decarbed 4 ounces of trim, popcorn and last year's leftovers and cooked it down into 16 ounces of coconut oil. I use 2 Tbs per brownie mix, and it works great. I may have a half brownie right now as a matter of fact.

Ok so what your saying is my butter is going to be rather under powered?

I forget the website we used for instructions, but it said from 1 to 4 ounces of trim for 16 ounces of oil. I still have most of my last year's crop, so I did it as heavy as I could. Two brownies will fuck you up. Make a batch and see what it does.

Ya that's the plan, I need a baseline to work off of. I'm sure they will be fine but nothing that'll knock a guy on his ass. i only had 1.8oz of trim and it didn't cost me a cent so what do I have to lose lol.
