Lol it's all good Jay. Soon enough I will have some home grown of my own. I am happy for you having such an awesome harvest. You have a lot to share and be thankful for this thanks giving.

Photon is probably a pagan, imagine him and his Yule log when you are feeling blue lol. Should make you smile:D
Yes looking forward to seeing your nugs.
I follow your Grow journal. I just don't comment cuz I don't know anything about that style of growing. So I'm paying attention to your grow.

Kinda wish you were here in Ontario with that land to rent. I bet we could have killed it if we partnered up!

If a wet cola weighs 93 grams with the stem in middle what do you figure dry weight would be?
Anyone?
I fully trim my buds fresh off the plant and my dry weights are 23.5% of the wet weight so you're probably looking at less than that with all the stuff you'll be chopping off those phat colas before it's done. Around 20% would be my educated guess from a freshly chopped, untrimmed cola like that massive forest growing in your drying room. :)

Yeah there is probably a thick stem in the middle of all that good good.

Yeah I have a lot of South facing hills , the only problem is that it's North Central Alberta, not the best place on earth to grow cannabis. It can be done though, just not as easy in southern climates.

As long as you get sun then a greenhouse with furnace would be the answer IMO.

I have an appointment with NHS in November to renew my grow registration. I will be dragging the wife with me and submitting her grower registration too. Maybe I should get her to apply for outdoor since I am indoor and try the raised beds with super soil. Or the indoor/out door option. Right now I am 3g/day and she is 2g/day. I am thinking about both of us pushing for 4g/day.

Those fat stems weigh surprising little once dry. Being trained as a chemist I use some of that education while growing and and keeping track of things like weights and all things related to my plants. Never made any money with that diploma but sure makes a lot of things easier to do like distilling butane with a couple of boilng balls and some copper tubing when I make BHO. :)

Don't forget about the 4 extra for Rec.

I'm not at all sure that med growers will be able to tack on four extra plants as a rec grower. I have an 8g/day limit and there is no way I could grow my legal limit of 39 indoor plants without spending another 5G or so to get all the lights etc I would need. I'm still on the fence about applying to legally grow as keeping my yap shut and growing illegally has worked fine since '78. :)

You have to remember that the rules out now are still speculative and are no where's near being law. I see a lot of people counting their chickens before they are hatched and as my wife's hobby is growing chickens I know how that works. ;)

Well in my house there is 4 people living here and 2 with med licence! So why can't my brother who doesn't have a med license grow the extra 4?

My wife also has laying hens. When I defoliate my plants, they go nuts for the fan leaves. I use the "don't count your chickens before they hatch" all the time ha ha.

Sounds like a perfect plan to me but I doubt it will fly. There are too many questions about how it will all work once they implement rec use to do anything other than guess and then you might as well believe everything Faux News tells you for your information. lol

Ya it's all so confusing so I'm I'm just going to continue with my script and overgrow the system lol.

That sounds nice. I am thinking more along the lines of 20g maybe 1 zip.
Best way to know for sure is weigh and tag some of those colas then make sure you keep track of them until they are cured and ready for toking then weigh what you get. That will tell you what to expect for future crops.

I see so many growers in these threads claiming weights I know damn well are way over what they really have so I go by what I know from years of experience.

I bet you make a really good batch of BHO
