Picking seeds off growing buds?

I have a few outdoor plants. One is a hybrid sativa dominate that is producing seeds. I have been picking a few of them off the buds in the thought that the energy would be used elsewhere. Is this a good idea or should I just leave it be? I searched for similar questions but unable to find any thoughts on this.

Don't pick off your seeds, it won't change anything. If it is producing what is called "nanners" , and there is not too many of them, you can cut these off while they are still wet. These things are pollen producers and will pollinate your other plants. Don't cut them when they are dry because they are more prone to spread pollen then. This is what they look like, little bananas looking out of the buds hence the name "nanners"

Thanks for the thoughts and replies. I have looked for "nanners" but haven't found any. There are no hermie pollen sacks so must be "nanners" I can't see. I have picked off about 20 forming seeds but will just leave it be now. Here is a pic of it and one of the bud tops.20170913_194805.jpg 20170831_113019.jpg

Sounds like False Seed Pods, of which sativas seem to be the biggest offenders/producers. Don't pick off the False Seed Pods because you'll increase circulating levels of stress hormones. Lick the end of a toothpick and dab them out of your grinder when all is said and done. They will look like mini grapenuts.

Fireman, Do you know that she wasn't pollinated by a male? I've done it intentionally and not to non herm plants. If the seed falls out with a gentle pinch and wiggle, that's fine. But picking it out if it resists sounds stressful.
Plants look awesome!

Thanks. It's possible it was pollinated from some male. I don't have any but it is outside near a natural area in a legal state. So who knows. I do know I have been over it with my jewelers loupe several times and never found a "nanner".

So I just found out that there is an industrial hemp farm 6 miles from my house. I am guessing that is where I got the pollen? Never found any nanners.
