Donald Trump's DHS Waives Environmental Regulations for His Dumb, Racist Border Wall

The Department of Homeland Security has moved to waive a stunning list of environmental regulations for the construction of Donald Trump’s stupid border wall.

The three-mile segment of the wall, based in DHS’ El Centro sector in southern California, would get to ignore the following laws as it is constructed west of the Calexico West port of entry:

The National Environmental Policy Act,
Endangered Species Act,
Clean Water Act,
Clean Air Act,
National Historic Preservation Act,
Migratory Bird Treaty Act,
Migratory Bird Conservation Act,
Archaeological Resources Protection Act,
Safe Drinking Water Act,
Noise Control Act,
Solid Waste Disposal Act,
Antiquities Act,
Federal Land Policy and Management Act,
Administrative Procedure Act,
Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act,
and American Indian Religious Freedom Act......

The first sections of that fucking wall is set to cut right through critical wildlife habitat at Big Bend Wildlife refuge. 111 endangered species will be threatened. The excuse? National Security. Not immigration control but national security. Fake excuse if there ever was one.

No! There was this one guy who was illegal who hurt somebody. All the right needs (lacking any brains or any sort of understanding of statistics) is one example of something to prove the point that they want to believe due to their pre-existing fears or prejudices. Then they make it into a meme.

You forgot one;
'not one single solitary piece of legislation passed', lol

This is what it looks like when the 1% captures the entire political system.

Thanks, US Supreme Court, for that putrid turd of judicial overreach known in true Orwellian fashion as 'Citizens United', you democracy destroying bunch of motherfuckers!

The richest and must powerful country in history has sold its political system to the highest bidder (the rich, of course) who now see military adventurism as economic expansion by other means.

No one cares if we actually WIN the wars anymore (we don't, because peace isn't profitable), as long as the contractors make out. The blood is somebody else's problem.

Erik Prince, nephew of trump backer and advisor Rebekah Mercer (and right wing nationalist psychopath), is the CEO of Blackwater, the mercenary firm. His proposal to the government is to 'save money' by outsourcing warfighting itself. Nice work around for those pesky Geneva Conventions, too.

And the NSA is engaged in an ongoing program to hoover up everything on the internet about everyone, ever. They aren't supposed to eavesdrop on American citizens, but they ignored that directive a long time ago. You know, for your 'security'.

If this sounds like paranoia and sarcasm, remember this; both of those depend on what's said being false.

Will building this damn wall stop any needless human deaths related to illegal border crossings? Or will we get more death than we have now?

Most immigrants who end up without paperwork actually fly here and overstay.
Correct, I'm speaking to the ones found dead in fields around the border. Per Wikipedia:
Migrant deaths along the Mexico–U.S. border occur hundreds of times a year because of those attempting to cross into the United States from Mexico illegally.[1] The US Border Patrol reported 322 migrant deaths in fiscal year 2016 (ending 30 September 2016), which was higher than the numbers reported in 2014 and 2015 (313 and 251, respectively), but lower than the number of deaths reported in any year during the period 2003-2013. The highest number of deaths reported over the period 1998-2016 were the 492 deaths reported by the Border Patrol in 2005.[2] Exposure (including heat stroke, dehydration, and hyperthermia) were the leading cause.[3]

Frankly, if they're willing to risk their lives to walk across a desert for a better life, maybe they're the kind of people we WANT here?

Can we deport our stupid, lazy, racist, backward motherfuckers instead? Just round them up from their 'white rights' rallies and shove them right through the turnstiles to Tijuana! Mexico can put them to work for pesos a day building a wall to keep US out!
