Oh the blackberry was autoflower I see. So it is 10% autoflower. Very interesting.
Fuck I wish I would've read this sooner. My oregon diesel is starting to flower in mid june... been a few weeks of rainy dark days hopefully it bounces back to veg soon! It's in the ground so no option to move it. Any suggestions or idea what's going to happen to it? Thanks! Sorry I know this is an old thread but hoping to get advice from previous growers of this strain.6287.jpeg 6286.jpeg

Im in Oregon and happened to snag an OD from the local dispo, we've had her for around 83ish days and in ground for around 75ish. It blew us both away when it started flowering she is small but big buds and smells great!

Mines been flowering like 9 or 10 weeks now I honestly don't know if I should chop not. 90% cloudy %10% amber9026.jpeg football size colas. Pic is from 1 week ago. Very little resin production tho... and hairs are still 90% white

If you haven't chopped her yet, I'd wait. Check the trichs day to day for a few days. See how fast the amber is coming in and maybe for a last minute bulk increase. That put er at 11 week s?
Looking pretty proper pimp!

First time with Oregon Diesel, I got two starts from an outfit based in Philomath (as I recall)... Was shocked that they started flowering in June! Here we are, Sep 2, I'm thinking my ladies have another week to 10 days to go.. the trichomes are 90% cloudy and probably 5% amber, and the pistils are increasingly turning brown by the day.. it got to 95f again today and the buds are just looking fatter and smell awesome. I stopped feeding them with fertilizer last week, only have included two low doses of raw honey diluted in the water.

This strain is kick ass, I've enjoyed growing it.. mine are short compact and super bushy, with tons of nodes and a high leave to node ratio. I pruned out 75% of the fan leaves to open up the canopy a couple weeks back and it really seems like the buds took off.

This picture is a couple days old and this bud has probably 25% brown hairs now.

Each plant has 5-6 main colas like this one, then a lot of golf ball sized buds. First time FIM, and I think it worked out well.

I wouldn't trust the hairs on this strain. Mine were 80% white at chop. And all turned red/brown 24 hours after chop. The buds got so massive i did have a couple spots of bud rot on the main cola. I didn't notice till I trimmed. Not too bad tho. Can't wait to try the smoke it was a fun one to grow and nice being done so early.

No kidding huh.. so just go with the trichomes then?

Is there any way to peek into the big colas to check for rot prior to chopping? This is my second season, and I haven't had rot before..

You could try. This strain in my opinion is like a trimmers worst nightmare. Which I think would also make it hard to check for rot since it's so leafy. It turns the buds like a brownish nasty color but it usually starts near the stem so it's pretty hard to notice until you trim. But yah I would chop based on your trichome prefence.

Indeed.. this strain has a ton of leaf. Thanks for the note.. I was out inspecting the main buds to see if I could spot any brown nasty looking spots and couldn't find any yet, so that's a good thing. Cheers!

The last two weeks are the. Most important for sure" wait till hairs have receded into the calyx. Otherwise yield is very little and not as good. Peace sdd

Have you grown oregon diesel? Because I did not find that to be true with this strain at all.
