"All you people so gung-ho about punching Nazis: go do it. See what fucking happens. Go to one of these rallies and just cold cock one of these guys in the face. Do you think he's going to get back up and say "Oh now I get it! I shouldn't hate non Christan whites. Man this whole racism thing sure is silly huh?" Do think the rest of the rally is just going to stand there and let it go without incident? You you think these people aren't just wanting to bait you into violence just so they can respond with another car ramming into a crowd? Or maybe they'll use those guns for more than show next time.

You think you won't make these people more radicalized by threatening violence to silence them? You think you won't be justifying their narrative that the left is out to get the white man? And how far are you willing to take this? What if punching them doesn't stop them? Why not just put them in camps, deprive them of their rights, and keep their horrible ideology separate from the rest of us? Fuck why not just kill them? They're just Nazi scum. It's not like they're people or anything. And who's to say who a Nazi is? Are we all just going to agree on some criteria? Are you just going to just decide for yourself? Do any of you think you have the moral clarity to be judge, jury, and exucutioner?

Nothing good will come of this. You will only contribute to the problem and put more lives at risk. They are horrible people with a horrible ideology, but they have every right to say it. And you have every right to denounce them in the harshest possible terms. But you don't have the right to maim and kill your fellow man because you disagree with them. Let law enforcement do their jobs and deal with the criminals in these groups that break the law. This violent, unconstitutional brand of street justice isn't the path we want to go down. And it isn't what any reasonable interpretation of Captain America would want you to do."

if you break down padas post, it doesnt say what you think. comprehension is off. sorry.
LOL

"To commit violence towards them is no different from them committing violence towards an LGBT or African American protest for the simple fact that they believe differently."

There is a difference. Nazis want to take rights away. Lesbians want equal rights. Nazis preach hatred and have a history of violence both recent and historical. Lesbians just want to be safe. Nazis preach hate. Lesbians want the right to live with the love of their life.

When Nazis preach inclusion and equal rights for all and stop driving cars over peaceful protesters then I'll side with you Sandernistas about letting them be. African Americans were right to distrust your movement.

It doesn't matter what they're saying, they have a right to say it unless they're breaking the law. If they're breaking the law, call the police. I disagree with everything they're saying, but they have the right to say whatever they want short of committing actual violence, and everyone else has the right to point and laugh at how ignorant we believe they are. Committing violence against someone is wrong unless it's in self defense, or if it's consentual, like a professional fight. You're admitting you can't defeat their message with a better message of your own, you have to resort to violence in order to stop their message. That's pure weakness. Defeating a nazi message is the easiest thing in the world to do without committing violence.

"As for Antifa, it's a minuscule fringe of the Left, just as its predecessors were," Noam Chomsky told the Washington Examiner. "It's a major gift to the Right, including the militant Right, who are exuberant."

Chomsky said, "what they do is often wrong in principle – like blocking talks – and [the movement] is generally self-destructive."

"When confrontation shifts to the arena of violence, it's the toughest and most brutal who win – and we know who that is," said Chomsky. "That's quite apart from the opportunity costs – the loss of the opportunity for education, organizing, and serious and constructive activism." -Noam Chomsky

Because a Nazi rally is just like a LGBT rights rally. (snicker)

Tell this to general Patton, numb nuts. You're a disgrace to the greatest generation, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Trying to stifle free speech is authoritarian. Freedom of speech is fundamental to democracy. Ironically, the Fuhrer himself was as adamantly against free speech as both of you are.

Noam is consistent and a great thinker. Respect that.

ACLU is also aghast at attempts to throttle what they call free speech. Sometimes I don't agree with them too.

I'm good with both of them speaking out. They have the right to say that.

But Nazis aren't like lesbians. Thanks for giving me that line. It's an extremely foolish thing to say. I couldn't have made that up. Thanks.

Really, you call Hitler the great leader.

not surprised

Hitler used free speech laws to gain power. Once he had it, there was none.

If you want to refer to Nazis as the poster boys for free speech, you should listen to what modern day Germany says about seeing the Nazi flag paraded on the streets of the US. They know that this kind of speech isn't good for Democracy.

Are you still running around insulting gay people? You gave up your right to discuss social equality and free speech when you did that.

How is your goose step coming along?

In regards to the freedom of speech. As I've repeated, it doesn't matter what someone is saying, unless they're breaking the law, they have the right to say it. Attempts to stifle the freedom of speech are authoritarian.

But you're intellectually dishonest and can't argue against the substance of an argument

Forget about who is saying what. Both are irrelevant. What matters is if what is being said is against the law. If it is, it's not your job to enforce the law, it's the job of the police.

It's really simple. Are they breaking the law? Yes? Call the cops. No? Call your mom and tell her your feelings about it, walk away, go ask a friend for a hug? I don't know, but you don't have the right to stifle free speech or engage in violence against people you disagree with, for any reason other than in self defense; if they physically attack you first. If you think you do, go do it. Go to one of the right wing marches and attack them. See how fast you get arrested for assault.

You're missing the most important part; this behavior from the extreme left emboldens them and their cause. It gives them credibility that their beliefs are real in their minds. Just like killing innocent civilians in war zones emboldens the population against the foreign invaders. So in reality, you're actually helping add fuel to the fire of racial division and sowing the seeds of future violence. Offensive violence has never resulted in lasting peace. You're dreaming, and yep, you are definitely the only one.

I'm just quoting you, my dear. I'm sorry that I didn't get around to pasting a picture of an attractive man on the mirror glass before I held the mirror up to you. Still reality sucks. You really do look like the man in the mirror.

You are such a chump.

So, tell me, what's the difference between men's rights and women's rights?

Do you still think that more work is expected of you by your black, brown and female working colleagues because you are a white male?

It's because you can't. All you can seem to do is throw a tantrum and call people names and try to convince people that taking away the freedom of speech of someone or a group of people you disagree with politically is right, even if no laws are being broken. Trying to convince people that offensive violence is OK when it's just someone so horrible and loathsome they don't even have the right to talk. (the same rationale every authoritarian uses to dehumanize his political opponents, including Nazis)

You're just a very confused individual with access to a keyboard and a really loud mouth

@Padawanbater2 :We're going to protect the rights of Nazis that want to oppress you and your families.
It doesn't matter who they are or what they believe. Speech is constitutionally protected unless the law is being broken

The protection of the freedom of speech is fundamental to democracy

This is another example of how you and your friends try to twist things in an attempt to suit your own narrative because you have no other option since we win on the substance, every single time. It's not protecting the freedom of speech, it's defending nazis. It's not that all humans are animals and all animals have a herd like mentality, it's that only black people have a herd like mentality. It's not that I don't believe saying 'faggot' is wrong in the correct context because I don't associate it with homosexual people, it's that I'm just a homophobe. It's not that we disagree with Clinton and neoliberals, it's that we're just racist, sexist, Berniebros...

Your shtick is tired and boring. Everyone sees through it immediately and all examples of it can be quoted at the touch of a button for anyone to read themselves. I've had more than a handful of members PM me asking about each of these issues, I simply quote the posts where the accusations originate and they read them for themselves and 100% of the time have come away agreeing with me. You represent a tiny vocal fraction of the extreme left.
