So is everyone just using cfl? Any reason as to picking these over say t5"s?
If i had a 4x2 growspot i woulda used them. but i only have a 2x2. 2foot t5s r pretty limited. I switched all my cfls with led. I dont have temps over 90. with cfls i was hitting 100°f+ easily. I got about 105w in veg and about 360w in flower. Both veg amd flower area are 2x2x4

getting more 26w equ to 100w led cfls today so ill have 11 26w equ 100w led cfls amd 2 9w cfls for my lower branches that should be good right? i mean ill have about 27,000 lumens for one plant is that good or to much light of cfl bulbs?
you should be good, old friend always told me the more light the better.

for me i would use your 26watters as a veg lighting, then when your ready to flower drop your 9watt ones. alway look at your kelvin too thats the light color that it makes...blues are for veg, reds are for flowering....

Plenty of light. 304 watts. Now that you have the fire power you need to add reflectors behind the lights to focus all light on the plant itself; this could be made from tin foil, to soda cans, and anything else that would reflect the light towards the plant. Keep the lights super close, 1-3 inches from your plant.
And you say you bought led cfls? They can't be both.

tin foil works don't get me wrong, but look for mylar it will reflect better. Couple of ways to find it is 1: by a roll, 2: look at astronomy sites, they see in large sheets fairly cheap, 3: the new metalic looking ballons, the inside it mylar.....just some heads up, me i just painted my white, it was cheaper, works good too.

The tin foil on the walls is good and everything, but by the time the light reflects off of it and onto the plant its lost most of its intensity. Now if you mounted reflectors directly behind each light, it would focus most of the light on the plant. downloadfile.jpgReflector I made from stock card and foil tape with eight 23watt cfls mounted on splitters.
