The seedlings..are from crap Mexican brick weed and
I Don't excepect much ...I just wanted to see if seeds would sprout just tossing them in moist soil...every single one germinated in the crappy true value dirt lol!

Quick question ..I am in Boston, during the day I easily stay below 86*f at the tops of my plants ...but with my windows open the floor is closer 50 to 55*f
at night ,since my closet ,is on an outside wall so the temps get into the low 60s...are the varying night and day temps going to stress the plaants out ?and Do the plants stress out over the cool floor and warm tops during the day ??
You throw some seeds in a can of moist garbage they will sprout. Doesn't mean they will be happy haha.

Day and night temp variances aren't too big of a deal, try to stay within a 15 degree difference. Overall don't go below 60, or above 85 if you can help it. Get some fans blowing and it will help circulate air to even out temp. if you need to you can add a exhaust at the top of the grow area to duct hot air and blow it out of the grow area either into another room, an attic, or outside

During the night you could find a mini heater with a temp controller so it turns off when the room reaches 65. That's probably your best bet

Day/Night temp swings are not that big of a deal. Plants have evolved in outside conditions which often swing 20 degrees or more between night and day. Its just prolonged hot or cold that is bad.

Day 15 of 12/12 lighting
Starting to get stinky
Flowering nicely. I didn't catch the age of the older plants, but in general, as long as the plant is 4-5 weeks old it is sexually mature, and old enough to flip.

I would transplant the bag seed sprouts into Solo cups and put them outside when they are a little bigger. You can use the 12/12 on them until they are sexually mature without going into flower. Then you would need to get them into at least 14 hours of daylight a day until they can get it naturally. Or if you don't care about the reveg, you could let them show sex under the 12/12, then put the females outside. This isn't the best thing to do, but hell they are bag seed.

Good luck.

Starting to turn purple and a lot of the white hairs are now red think it is day 28 of flowering ,
Thinking I should have grown the plants bigger before going to 12/12... not looking like a worthwhile yield ...cost of set up and electrickery for maybe a ounce and half ....or are these buds going to double in size within the next three weeks????

They should definitely/maybe put on some weight

I see those tips now, could be a completely diffrent issue. Because it definitely shows signs of severe N deficiency but those tips seemed burned. How's the PH? It's mid flower now so it should be using less N and more PK so that's odd. But plants still need some N through the whole grow, what nutrients are you feeding? They could be too low in N but too high in P or K causing the defficency and burn together

I will put it down to Poor choice of soil on my part -- miracle grow ... two of the plants are thriving just a little burnt and the one on far left never did like th soil and was transplanted into fox farms ..growth was stunted a little but is still producing some nice nuggets
Soil is 6.5ph
Water is 6.5-7 ph
I let tap water stand out for a couple of days ,then add PH down ,and next day it is usable

next time, try looking into making you own soil, its a learning curve. With MG most of the its better to mix with a top soil, or an organic soil without any nutes...

Mixing soil can be really great especially if you want to go full organic. But it requires a lot more knowledge. I like just going with foxfarm because it's easy and feeds the plants well for a month before you need to worry about nutrients. As long as you know how to work with it alittle it's great
