They are all tested several times!
No matter which type of led's is used they are all crapp. From the old 7-bands to the latest full spectrums they all use inefficient epi leds, pour drivers and so on...
You can not build a good lamp if you spend only $ 20 on parts. Have a look at Panda Growlights(another chinese brand), their latest generation Cree COB units are at least based on quality parts but their changed their mind also a bit to late and your company seems to be far behind them.

Black Dog make top notch led lights, I would recommend them to anyone
I hear they are exactly equal to HPS, watt for watt, but run much hotter then vented HPS. If that's true, what would the benefits be? Spectrum w/o gained yield?
Maybe Im wrong. Pls do correct me if so & why.

I have a BD 200w and two 75w led bars in a 2x2x4 and the temperature never gets above 78, but if you read on Black Dog's website they tell you that with their lights you should have temps in the 80's

So you need 350 watts in a 2x2 ... 87.5 watts per sq ft.. something ain't right.. 200 watts should max out a 2x2 ..
50 watts per square foot is the target of most growers ... How much do they actually use?

The 200w will actually handle a 3x3 according to their specs, I just added the light bars for side lighting, to help reach all the little popcorn buds at the bottom.
