Wondering if any one else logs every thing daily on a spread sheet.
Last few cycles iv done it just on paper and has helped me dial in my strain but this time iv used a spread sheet.

If you do Im just wondering if there is anything extra I should be logging or using to calculate things.
This is how it looks for far 23 days in.

Have done this for many years. Consistency and concluding whether, or not, an altered variable made a difference, good or bad.

...and then there was a power cut

and you didn't record that

cause you need power to write that up ...lol

taking notes is good,

they are for you,

leaving a digital paper trail ain't

good luck

I use a paper notebook and pencil. Track EC and PH on an (almost) daily basis. My other costs haven't changed enough in the last year, or so, to keep tracking.
Like Vostok said, no digital trails, but I'm a little paranoid.

If your door gets knocked down I don't think it's going to make a difference whether you take notes on a computer or notebook??? Now I wouldn't do it on something that leaves the house. Just because you might lose it. And don't use free wifi! Nothing is free! Ever!

I keep a written journal personally ....it's nice to have to be able to refer back to later .....as far as what to write down in it ,,it's simple EVERYTHING!!....even the dumbest little things you do that seem minuscule in the grand scheme of things .....just because those are the things we usually forget .......obviously be sure and keep separate notes for different strains .....I find that it could never be to detailed IMO .....and I'm always referring back to it ....very helpful to have ...GL
