Just two things to consider for flipping:
a) They will grow 2-3x (strain dependent) from VEG size so flip them accordingly to your growing area size
b) Light can penetrate so much, as of your 1000W i believe around 1.1m should be IDEAL for total size

one plant every 6 inches, I think your going to regret planting so close, the colas are going to crowd each other out. Make sure you have plenty of air flow. Trim the bottom third of each plant to help produce single colas, if not it's gonna be a right mess.
Would like to see an update in four weeks time.
All the best.

I run a similar setup with 5x5x7 square pots and I've started working in a short 7-8 day veg/straightening out period in the diffuse light from my 600, and depending on how fast they straighten out from the transplamt stress... i run clones from and aero cloner and I like it so far just need to work out the kinks.. I have not ran into getting root bound yet at all either...

should of flipped at 5 inches trial and error next time i think i can have it booming
Ya at 6" apart your into almost a zero veg setup. Some of my strains, vegged for 21 days grow to well over 4'. Also yes a good ideal to run same strain if going with a sea of green setup IMO.

Ive seen serious success with 0-veg time at all but I don't have it that good yet... i was all about it but after a few rounds there wasn't enough consistency in the plants for me, some would be 18" tall, bud from bottom to top, others are 8" tall, sparsely budded even though it's dense it would be way to little to waste resources on... my first batch of plants with the short veg period are @ day 5 of 12/12 and I already need to bump the ec up... that and I've switched to running a veg nutrient regiment for the first 2-3 weeks of 12/12 as well... I used to do the same thing when i used bottled nutes and soil as a medium only basically and I see that it's working pretty well 5-6 days in on my first run so we'll see what happens but literally already they look more uniform, they're twice if not 3x the size they usually are at this point so I'm running with it... when the stretch stops or they hit 14-16 days I'll start mixing in the bloom nute @ 50/50 for another week, all plant dependent though... if they bud set in 2 weeks n stop stretching then I'll have to switch over but for now I can't feed them enough...

I've never had great success with straight 12.12 but that was from seed, my clones are typically 21 days from cut to 12/12.
