First Grow Expert Opinions Welcome

So after question 4 passed in Mass, i decided it was time to start a grow, something that i had been wanting to do for a long time. Im not claiming to know what im talking about when it comes to growing, but i have always researched the subject out of curiosity so i have a lot of the basic knowledge readily available in my brain, but thats only a small part of a successful grow, so here i am, hoping that this journal will be something i look back on and see my first grow, and that some of you can help me avoid any serious problems i might be unaware of. So heres some pics from seed to now.

One thing i have noticed is that maybe 3 of the plants have a small yellowing at the very tip of their biggest fan leaves, and i dont have ph testing stuff, think thats the problem?

Here's some questions for ya.
What type of soil?
What nutrients do you have/using?
What's your light setup?
Room dimensions?

As to your Question about your leaf tip. That's common if your feeding with nutes. Cut back abit until your plants show they need them. Its probably no ph. Your plants look real healthy but to me, the two biggest look like they may be getting to much nitrogen at the moment.( very dark green leaves ) could be the lighting

At first they were in miracle grow because i had no money, but then i transplanted them to Fox Farm Ocean Forest, and i have been watering as needed with a kind of unsure dose of espoma organic starter plant food weekly, but i think very close to a dose, and on the bottle it says "use every 2-4 weeks during grow season" but i read online from multiple sources that its ok to go a little heavy early on, is that not true?

The answers to your other questions, light is an agrobrite 2 ft 4 bulb 96w t5

With 3200k red spectrum bulbs for flowering
The dimensions are 22 inches deep 44 inches wide 60 inches approximately tall that the plant could fit from root to safely under the light, which is mounted with these wierd pulley caribeaner combos so i can adjust it as i grow

Would have posted links but i cant until my account is a day old lol

Fox farm is pretty good stuff..
It can be hot for some sprouts. Used it on my endless sky closet grow. They did good in it, I put about 75%soil/25%chunky perlite. I believe I only feed them nutes 2 or 3 times that whole grow in that soil..

Are you going to run a perpetual style of grow?

Ok ill cut way back on those then, thats my goal but my hope for this grow is a succusful un pollinated harvest, we have more seeds of the same genetics so i was planning on trying the plastic bag one branch pollination next grow, but if you just mean cloning then yeah im definetly going to try to set up a schedule with as constant harvesting as possible.

Are you running the 3200K bulbs now? If so, consider using at least 3 6500K bulbs while you're in veg.

nope forgot to mention that the light came with 6500k bulbs, but thanks for the advice, would adding one of the 3200k in veg be beneficial or using one of the 6500k during flowering?

Stay away form any soils that have time release fertilizer ... MG.
If you're using Fox Farm, what size pots are you going to have? The size of your pots and when you re-pot will have a lot to do with when you have to start adding extra nutes as well as how frequently you ave to water.
Looks like you're a few weeks ahead of me. I'll be starting a Blue Widow grow journal in a day or 2.

Good to know, my pots are definetly two small, i plan on getting 5 gal soil mesh bags or whatever so they breathe more, but honestly probably not until my 2nd grow.

The cloth pots aren't really letting you plants breathe, they are "air pruning" the roots ... causing the tips to die so the plant sends out more of the finer roots that actually absorb nutrition ... sort of like topping your plant

What is your goal for this grow despite the obvious. There are a lot of people hear that will help you get a good harvest.
Do you have a timer for the 12/12 flip?
