"Pinkie" Plant 3

This is ideally what I would like 100% of my Aline females to look like when grown indoors in a 1 gallon pot. obviously Id like to see how she performs with more room and outdoors but for this environment she is perfect!

20161213_085639.jpg shes got a great growth pattern for SOG growing so as an indoor plant I dont see how I could improve on her.
20161213_085655.jpg very typical leaf pattern (sativa dom hybrid [thin but not sativa thin]) 5 fingers is pretty uniform at this point give or take the odd mutation here and there.

This is one of the traits I really like about her, the trichs are literally EVERYWHERE!! zoom in on these branches and see what I mean!

What would you say is the average height for the females that mature to harvest?

What's the average dry yield of mature females?

From sprout to harvest how many days typically are involved?

How would you rate the difficulty of cultivation of this particular auto?

So its also trichs on the stems? Never knew that one. Do they contain the same thc content or am I way off base here?:weed:
yeah man trichs everywhere! lol
yeah theyre just normal trichs in abnormal places, you can see the heads and all on them if u zoom!

Thanks Traxx! glad to have had you along for the ride this whole time man ;)

its entirely dependant on the sum of factors at play in your particular grow room, If you veg a Pinkie in a 3-5 gallon pot under 24 hour light and LST her then your height/yield etc will be entirely different than someone like me who grows in 1 gallon pots under sub-optimal lighting schedules in a SOG setup so its difficult to say.

Shes not a massive auto but she can get pretty big under the right conditions. yield is not one of my markers for selection, but quality is.

again, totally depends, throw out a scenario and ill give you a ballpark (still not perfectly accurate because I dont know how good of a grower were talking about here, I can pull a hell of a lot more off of a Pinkie than a noob can.)

85 days seed to harvest

Beginner-Pro Shes a very forgiving plant and as you can see I have grown her under very tough conditions throughout the breeding process, even now, I keep my grows as bare bones as possible so people who dont have access to fancy gear and expensive nutes/medium/pots can get similar results.

all great questions :D

Killed my male today after a trich rub smell test
I took a smell last week and was really excited because the fruity almost starburst like aroma that came off of it is exactly what im looking to get into the Aline but when I smelled it today (multiple branches) it was heavily berry leaning with a smidge of menthol and some green smells on the back end. I wouldn't describe him as typical MBC (menthol berry cheese) expression because the gassy menthol aroma is only a secondary aroma while in the full purple female expressions it is very heavily mentholated and the funk from the cheese is entirely absent as far as I can tell. He almost seems to be a perfect combination of the fruity/citrus and MBC phenos or maybe its just that the fruity/citrus is a less mature version of the MBC? no clue but im sure Pinkie will start lettin me in on all her secrets after a few more generations :D

F7 select (pink balls) Male: Heavy berry + light menthol

Some of the rejects I put under the HPS to make use of the wasted side lighting and give my select females more breathing room and access to light are starting to look like theyll produce some decent buds ill be chopping around day 65-80 to put into my jars :p and of course for dabbery!

Note: all of them are purple and frosty but they are low yielders

holy shit! seriously?? thats fuckin awesome!! hahahaha are they crosses or pure?
I knew youd been here a while but damn that was pretty much the beggining of this thread!

To continue successful breeding do you ever feminize the seeds ahead of time to make sure that you can continue?
Ive never made Pinkie Pie fems before, up until this point its all been pretty conventional male to female full sibling pairs nothing fancy. Making fems now to let folks give the strain a try before I breed it to complete uniformity/stability and start making some serious hybrids with her.

to make fem seeds you have to chemically reverse a female and use the pollen on another girl, unless youve got selfed beans or a super stable auto the chances of randomly selecting 1 early on and it being the perfect pheno are pretty slim, thats why i wait so long to start spraying and have to use the pollen on a later started batch of gals. IDK how you mean ahead of time? can you clarify?

I have never grown once though due to the change in laws in California will change that with the new year. I have smoked plenty in the past. I'm still making decisions and they are many to be. But right now I'm try to educate myself as best as possible. This thread fansinated me greatly not just because of the genetics and breeding but also the hard work and time as well as the commitment there in.
