Gallon sprayer has a little nozzle wand that can easily get in and under everything. That along with providing a finer mist droplets ensures much better coverage and worth the $20
True. The finer misting makes your job easier. One day I will buy one of those foggers that mist even better but they are at least $80.

It is just lots of repetition (spray, fans, rinse, fans) and changing up what you use. You have to stay on the bugs.

plus you just need to pump the handle a few times to pressurize and then squeeze the nozzle for ease of use. and hand held ones are always sucking air once you are 1/2 or less solution left in bottle

Cinnamon with what? A little soap or a little canola oil? Cinnamon oil, which is not cheap, or the powder?

You can get cinnamon at the dollar store and I know mites do not like cinnamon, garlic, Caynnne pepper or powder. Dr. Bronners Peppermint suggests a pinch of caynne.

If you are 4 weeks plus into flower, let it sit on the plants for about 4.5 to 5 hours then rinse off with water in sprayer. Turn fans on to dry before lights come back on.
So just because i should have dealt with this weeks ago, every hour is killing me... are any of the soaps safe to do when the lights are on? Im guessing the spinosad isnt.

Also, how often should i water with the spinosad/silica? with nutes or with water? or both? maybe switch back&forth and do silica with one and spinosad with the other?

Nothing is safe to spray and leave bright lights on like an HPS or COB LED. Regular incandescent bulbs or flourscents are safe. Not bright/hot lights.

You can add a little silca everytime you water. Usually with spinosad watering in you can do it twice and wait a few days for second watering.

hi, hope you don,t mind but i.m a little worried about the bugs in the earth i bought last time 2 weeks ago ,first of all came spidermites from nowhere, then i sprayed them, relentlessly burned the plants neem pepper 2 different organic sprays bakeing powder ozone should be here tommorro or so they are here and running around one bit my finger when i got to close with a magnyfying glass then i got curious and looked at the soil with my jewlers loop well f$%&§ my old boots it was ,, is teaming with all kinds of things there ,s 2 or three kind of mite i think th e house mite is eating the red spider mites there a load of asian tiger mosqitoes they look brilliant but they look back too, these are the one i wanted to ask about because i,m scared of them other than that i seem to have a couple of species of beetle one looks like a sqaure, the obvious thing to do is chuck it all out, my face is numb i think it got me again, but then again they are eating the spider mites however how does this pan out is it possible they will all eat each other then i.ll just have one big one and the cat can sort that out

you need predator mites, try the fallacis species if it's humid and cold where you are.
overnight they'll be controlled with no sprays, and no dead mites all over your plants
expen$ive but effective.
not to mention all you do is apply them
no sprays, dips, etc.

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuude i have spider mites and they are all in the baby phase right now, ive been spraying azamax and its not working im going to wal mart right now to buy the peppers and do the spray i will update daily and tell how it works my buddy has them too he will use this pepper spray i will leave comments
Try captain Jack's dead bug.... it's all organic mite killing bacteria called spinosad, and its safe for root drench, as it is non systemic... also mix a little diatomaceous earth into your medium next time

well that was a few weeks back. the ozone has worked iv,e copied some one that was nice enough to share his experiance by trial and error burning his plants till he got it right, 3 minutes once in the morning for a week or so then from time to time i see no sighns of them now however this diatomateus earth sounds great it cuts them and they dry out great i will definately get some ,,while i was infested i saw a video of a spidermite getting eaten by a predator mite anything that will hurt them now is good as i know how to kill themm spidermites

Ya it works pretty good, I sprinkle it around the edge of the room some times and its good when plants are in veg you can dust them and rinse it of.... the spinosad also works good and Azamax. I don't use neem oil a lot but I will incorporate itin lesser amounts if I had an infestation.

For me the key is combination because some mites are immune to certain things.

if I spot a mite or an egg on the bottom of my leaves during vegetative growth, I spray every day for the first 3-4 days with: Azamax, Spinosad(Captain Jacks brand), diamataceous earth dust, and or neem oil.

People say every three days because it takes 3 days for a mite egg to hatch. THINK ABOUT IT!.
The mites aren't laying eggs all at the same time.- If the eggs were laid 2 and a half days ago, and the organic pesticides you use don't penetrate its shell, it will be born 12 hours later (approx.) And most of your spray may be rinsed off or dried by than.
Most of the strong little hatchlings will survive, joining 3% or so of mites that survived your spraying and they will continue to lay eggs every hour. :fire:

If you instead spray again 12 hours later, making sure to root drench with spinosid which is non-systemic(won't be sucked up by roots) with a DIFFERENT spray you will wipe out most of the rest of them, and subsequent sprays of a third and forth DIFERENT organic pesticide every 12 hours for first 3-4 days. Than every 3 days after. Rinse an hour after with RO or plain water.

Mites are WORSE for your plant than being over sprayed with these organic sprays I have listed and switching it up helps so it isn't too much of one thing.

Most of these sprays are fungicides as well so you don't have to worry about that.

Make sure to look at your plants from underneath and inspect for little white mite eggs, I make sure I rinse them all off, inspecting each leaf. :leaf:

I haven't had an infestation in years because I nipped it in the bud. If you don't wipe them out in the beginning, your house or apartment will become permanently infested. :o

bongsmilieAll bugs POOP, even if they eat the bugs that eat your plants, they are stills shitting, pissing, and laying eggs all over your smoke and your brownie mix, Im not knocking people that use predator species, but I prefer as little bug poop in my bowl as possible. :bigjoint::spew:
