Which T5 bulbs for Flowering?

So I'm currently vegging under a 4 footer ballast with 4-4 foot T5 bulbs ( Spectralux 15 HO 54 Watt, 6500K) and am considering Flowering under it as well. I'm growing in my garage in Hawaii and have been able to mitigate temps between 80-86 degrees.

They've been vegging for a month today and I've got some time to prep before flowering (along with nutes and topping). I currently have 12 plants (from seeds) in a 4 x 6 tent so I'm assuming I'll lose a couple males when the time comes. Im using FF Oceans soil (with added perlite) and will be starting the Fox farms trio nutes shortly.

Which bulbs should I get?

I think they run a bit cooler. Your looking for red wavelength for flowering. Amazon has some decent t5 bulbs or check out 1000bulbs.

I do have an HPS 1000w that my neighbor included with everything but being in a garage I'm concerned about the heat and spike in electricity it might cause

I'm used to growing in our greenhouse out back but it needs a lot of work and I had a ton of spider mite/aphid & a little bit of bud rot throughout the grows so I was thinking of giving the tent a go for flowering, to compare and have more control over the overall grow

I'm also using a charcoal fan as well so I could hook that up to it but I'm wondering how much heat that'll actually work away. And the power source to the light is a heavy ass piece of equipment which I'm sure won't help with the overall bill

You're going to want 2700K bulbs for flowering. Most 2700K T5 bulbs will do you just fine, just be sure to get the ones sized for your fixture. For example, if you get the ones that are recommended in this T5 lights guide, then you'd want to get a set of (4) 2' 2700K T5's (what a mouthful). Go for VHO or HO (very high output / high output) if possible, since for flowering T5's aren't the best.

Think I resolved it. Grabbed 2 Roleadro LED's for veg & flower. So far so good!

each 1kw hps & 10k btu runs me about 250$ a month to flower during hawaiian winters and i still use lights at night. Without an A/C 85f ambient was the best i could do with a 1000w hps & 500cfm, more trouble then it was worth.
If you cant use an A/C then look at chip on board led or a cooled 315 cmh because the t5's will be too hot for you once summer rolls around.
Of course the price will vary with grow room efficiency,city location and time of season ect, sometimes its 280/300 ect...
