First Time Grow!!!! :)

Hey everyone just thought I'd start my first post lol This is my first grow and so far its going really good. Ive done a lot of vegetable gardens when I was younger and always had a great passion for it, So this all started Sept,28th,2016 my good friend stopped by my place and just said "Here take these I don't need them".... I was hesitant at first but I told myself just do it haha anyways I brought the 2 home (Sherbert-GG4) and sourced a light and some bulbs from around the place and setup a little spot for them. NOw ive had them for about 2 weeks and they are doing great, I transplanted them last week from their cups to the pots now and they have really taken off. I do believe I need more light because they are starting to stretch a little but hey are still looking good. I will be posting pics today if I can get some time before I head into work :) Any advice is greatly appreciated thanks in advance

Are u in vegetation or flowering schedule? Do u have anyway to read room humidity and room temperature? Also what kind of miracle grow are u using?

U will be good without any nutrients until you switch to flowering. I guess u are in veg mode, mg soil has enough nutrients to go all the way through vegetation, only thing u gonna have to supply calcium and magnesium, and other secondary nutrients, cannabis not only thrive npk is more than that google cannabis secondary nutrients and sources. I will only feed micros until flower mg soil supplies all the npk needed until flower u only have to supply micros or secondary nutrients. Thats way many people blame mg soil when they fuck up there grows they add more nutrients on top of the slow release nutrients that mg soil already has. Dont feed anything just water calmag and other micros and u will be good until flower, and only feed secondary nutrients every 14 days. Water water feed water water feed

Sorry I got back to you so late, fell asleep after I wrote you back haha Yes im in Veg right now hoping to try and get a few cuts before flower them. As far as Temp-Humidity I have no clue,im going off of how my place is which is usually 70-76.... Wow thank you so much for the information on the nutrients and soil, I was just looking into all that and stopping by my local shop but ill def do some research on the Micros and Secondary nutrients since im messing with the MC soil. As far as watering yes its just plain distilled water from the store. I wish I had all the right tools but this was just kind of given to me to im just building as I go so all this information is greatly appreciated thanks for always responding back @Tupapa

Hi was going to say same as guy above , your light falls in to the red spectrum you want to be in the blue category (6400k) for veg .

I use CFL 300w dual spec which gives both red and blue spectrum and seems to be doing me fine so far (around £55 with shade)

Hps on an equivalent wattage would indeed be better , but your looking at slightly more on electricity , and gives off a lot more heat which could be an advantage/disadvantage depending on environment.

Could be wrong.
Might prefer the dark.

Noobs input.
