HOUSE INSPECTION!!!

If your not dope dealing your chances of getting caught are low in my opinion. Cops want the people with money so they can have that persons money and possessions. Plus, dealing from home brings a lot of attention. It looks like he is in it for personal.

In MI a landlord can't enter the dwelling without permission. Not sure about his state. Anyone that enters without permission is an intruder. You have rights as a renter it doesn't make your house public access because your rent...
Thats part of my point. Maybe low risk but that goes way up as a renter. Even if the lanlord needs permission to come in its only 24 hours notice. Thats not a lot of time to move your shit. And if he isnt a complete moron he will figure it out if you dont move everything. And so risk goes way up... for only growing a bit of personal? Just not worth it even if the only thing that happens is eviction. Thats a huge inconvenience and expense....

Imo 24 hours is plenty of time to move such a small cabinet and if the op is smart his house doesn't smell like dank anyway and like other posters said cook something that's smells alot boil some fish lol don't cover it with a bag as that'll look odd maybe stack some boxes or totes near it put a box fan on floor near it on high...

OP what kind of inspection are they doing is the landlord doing the inspection or is he bringing in a city inspector?

Well it is now that they can sieze it as proceeds of crime. But that is a recent thing....

The difference is that in a rented house there is much higher potential to be caught...for many reasons... whereas in your own home YOU DECIDE when/if anybody can enter your home (aside from the cops)... So all you had to do was keep your mouth shut and grow and the probability of being caught was extremely low...

And that remains the true.

The fact that i had to explain this to you... well... youre probably dumb enough to grow in a rented home too...

And dumber still are those who grow in a rented home without a contingency plan for the inevitability of unwanted entry...
Who the fuck said you needed to explain shit to me guy? If you're stupid enough to think I needed you to explain how the game works, then you're either like 19 or 20 or you're just a butthole trying to feel superior over people whom you base assumptions about.

If it'll fit in a garbage can. Can it. No, don't throw it away.

If possible to fit in a box prior to canning, do so. Then put old cans, mail and cups (light weight trash) in a garbage bag and place on top. Put garbage lid on.

I doubt they'd open a garbage can to peek inside but if they do, they'll see trash.

And to keep with the theme of the thread, cook bacon!

I must say that most of what you say is simply untrue. Renters have damn near just as much control of who comes into their home as home owners do. You make it sound as if only those with good credit or money are the only ones that can grow. Home owners have just as much to looes as renters do if not more.
If you are a renter that has inspections then you know every year that they will be doing a check then you should plan accordingly. 2) if you are a renter that doesn't have inspections then most likely you will be fine as long asyou pay your rent on time an don't cause trouble.

I rent from family. My landlord makes my dabs for me lol. My rent is paid months ahead because I like to know that rent is paid even for my woman if shit goes south.

Landlords are like every one else. There your friend until you owe them money. Keep the rent paid like he said and I do not see your land lord even stopping over unless its to fix something broken.

Landlords with multiple homes are very busy people. They are either in court trying to get rent money owed or working on a house.

Naw i think you misunderstood. All i meant is that a lanlord can enter any time with 24 hours notice, whether it is an inspection, bringing in a contractor to quote on upgrades or repairs, or if they decide to sell and etc... the renter has no control over who and when. And you never really know whyvif or when. They are subject to 24 hours notice. That is all.

If you think that is just as much control as a lanlord then... i dont know what say other than you are sadly mistaken.

Yes it can be between 24 to 36 hours notice needed true. if your growing in your bedroom and your toilet is in need of repair the plumer doesnt need to go into your beedroom. Wether or not you own or rent. Also as a renter you are owed an explanation for the visit. So if they are selling and you continue to grow then thats on you if you get caught. With that said that's something that we have to prepared for. So if you are not ready to ditch your plants, get evicted or go to jail for what you're doing then you shouldn't be doing it in the first place.

Homeowners have a lot more to lose because their property can be forfeited but they have WAY more control over who enters their home than a renter does. Some counties only require that a landlord give 12 hour written notice before doing an inspection/repair/or showing the home to a buyer....they also can enter without a tenant being present as long as the legally required written notice is given.
A homeowner doesn't need to let anyone in for any reason at all, except a search warrant.

Security should never be an after thought, especially if you live in an intolerant state. If it were me, I would take clones, trash the vegging plant and look at the inspection as a good opportunity to reset and do a deep clean...moving is never fun, especially if you have to do so because of an eviction.
