Who new it?..............GGG - Afghan haze bastard..............outdoors, in northern england. This is the plant that was massively outgrowing my already full tent, so got dumped to fend for itself in a discreet location. It was probably 2-3 week into a 12-12 light schedule when I put her outside and although the days were long back then, it seems she didn't go back into growth.IMG_6123.jpg IMG_6124.jpg IMG_6125.jpg

Running low on my home made 'Bloom Boost fertilizer', also known as 'Fermented Fruit Juice' (FFJ), so I decided to get the blender out and make a new batch.

This is directly stolen from here http://theunconventionalfarmer.com/recipes/bloom-fertilizer/, with some explanations as to why it works, cos I can't be arsed............

I don't think any of this is an exact science, I've followed their basic recipe, but added a little more sugar than them, due to the fact I've added the cannabis bud and broccolli, which don't contain as much natural sugars as fruit.IMG_6247.jpg

All the ingredients are organic, not sure if that's important or not, just personal choice and the tomatoes were grow by me, they're absolutely gorgeous, so I've only used the ones that have been attacked by pests.

The organic molasses jars I get are 740g, which is just under half the weight of my other ingredients, so I decided to just add the full jar.

Everything was blended up and mixed together.........didn't get photo's of this, cos my camera went to a safe place.......I'm messy and clumsy, luckily I had no major mishaps this time.

Then I added a Tbsp of lacto serum, this is optional because the microbes present on the fruit and in the air would ferment the material. But this just ensures the microbes are balanced in your favour and should speed things up a little bit,

When everything was mixed up, I transferred to my homemade ferment bottle with improvised air-locks.IMG_6258.jpg
I think they recommend around 10-14 days on the website, but I'll let this go until I stop seeing bubbles in the air-lock, pretty good sign that the ferment has finished and the mixture has stabilised.

Edit............Just realised, looking at the date of my last ferment on the label, that the stuff I'm using now is over a year old. It still smells good and my plants are still loving it!

1st time I've had success with tomatoes here, got some F1 hybrids with high mold resistance, they're also THE best tomatoes I've EVER tasted, grown in my own soil mix and fed nothing.

damn right my man.
NOTHING beats an organically grown tomato or strawberry
those two in particular are simply amazing when homegrown.
in fact the last like 3 times I grew tomatos I never even got to use them in anything, cuz both me and my pitbull would eat them right off the damn plant.
Pretty funny to watch a 50 lb pitbull delicately pluck the tomatoes though
shes a funny dog, she takes after me... eating fruit and veggies all day..
and then fartin it up all damn night

The ferment is producing so much Co2, I decided to utilize it on my recently topped PK x Livers plants

Once these start growing vigorously again, I'll clean up all growth up to the 3rd nodes of the 2 remaining branches and tie them down. When they recover from that, I'll top them to just above the 3rd node again, giving me 4 main branches. Cuttings will be taken at this stage, both for sexing purposes and preserving any 'keepers'. I'll just let them go from there, maybe use a little more lst'ing to get the desired shape.
