Trolls are the best! I love you guys. I've been a member of this site for 5 years, but when I first jumped on I used all my real information l. I'd rather not have people knowing who I am. :)
OK. We like secret agents too. It's easy next time just drop the long time member first-time caller and we are all ears. ;-P
It is a bunch of stoners, like how much trolling can we do before we lose the interest or just plain forget we trolled?

And my grow is extremely budgeted I bought my 250 watt with hood obviously for around $60.00. A box of these CFL's are $25.00 at my local Sam's club. My tent was $75.00 Two inline fans $30.00 and one regular fan $13.00. Lol that's $203.00. I've seen guys dump around $700.00 in equipment and still not get a half pound. I'm sure we've all seen cases like this.

I agree and I saw guys dump 200$ in and get 2 1/2 pounds out too with a 400w hood. Its in the style and expertise of the grower.

In that same time frame could run 2 SOG's and maybe do same amount is what I.m thinking.

Very possible, but my method is more of SCROG with no screen. This in turn allows the grower to keep those lower nodes that they would usually pluck. By bending the plant all growth can be nearly even on all sides. The work is only really during veg once flower starts you let em do their thing. Also to all my trolls out their I have a 1000 watt HP's. This is a post for guys who are balling on a budget.

This is way too annoying for a SOG my method is a little nerve racking I could only imagine the amount of time it would take to run this same style with ten plants. The more plants the more money being spent, budget my brotha.

You dont do anything to the say 10 plants including veg... run them 56-70 days pop next batch day after... Do any bending and it is not a SOG,

Clones are free... max production for the space = less money in the end for more finished product.

Looks a lot like mainlining what you got there.

How was he able to achieve over 2 grams per watt with a 400w hps?? That sounds a little far fetched.
DWC, Bubba Kush seeds from a cup winner. 6 week veg, 80 day flower, colas big as footballs. I may see him tonight and see If I can snag a pix from it, Cause I just saw those pix again yesterday when I saw him.

Hey dude. While you're here...

Do you think I could get the same good node spacing and vegetative growth under some t5 or something?
Reason I ask is that I was thinking of doing a perpetual harvest but I can't add much more electric. I figure veg doesn't smell that strong so I could use spare room to veg 2 plants and mother 1. Then move to my existing tent to flower under 2x600s
Should be really close if not the same, t5's or cfl's are great for veg, during veg you don't need a ton of light like flower. Depending on the situation you could get the same results during veg since they don't need to suck in as much light. For tighter nodes just keep the light closer, obviously strain and other things factor in but that should help. I only veg for like a month and I've used both my 250w MH and CFL's on separate occasions and I didn't see any faster results with the 250w MH vs the CFL's because the plants such a baby it doesn't need a ton of light. That was only one plant though so you gotta find a good medium of how much light you'll need for how large of a surface area you're covering with plants. I say keep the t5's as close as you can and you'll be happy.

I hear ya, I'm not trying to troll ya. I just don't find the savings in CFL's when you use too many of them. It becomes more sense to make an investment into an hps for multiple reasons. But you're right, a lot of guys don't understand the sense of an "investment" and rather spend less on the initial setup.

so how long to vege that for?
seems like you could almost fit in another whole Harvey in there
I trained like a mofo for yrs, trying to get the max grams per sq ft.
the truth is...
you want to concentrate rather on grams per YEAR.
I got another whole harvest and a half when I went with a simple four tops per plant.
waaay faster vege times, and better colas, not to mention it wasn't such an unwashed whore to trim
just my two cents

Thanks for responding. You've always been helpful.

My real first grow was interrupted by prison.... but I had this t5 set up that had like 6 or 8 bulbs. Something like that.
I guess I could research and maybe a 400 mh would be comprable.

I'm limited to five plants sonimbthinking of a way that I could another aero tub with 2 sites and switch out every two months.

So I'd have 8 or 9 weeks for the flowering to be done and then I could just switch out tubs. They would work good for cloning. I could keep a mother in the veg room with low light in soil.

So I just really need to have these two plant v3g really good so they can fill a 4x4 area when it comes time to flower.

Otherwise I just go from seed 5 plants every time.
Which do you think would yield more?
I mean two months of veg lst and topped they should be monsters.

do you have plant restrictions?
why go with just one plant?
I'm doing it just because I have the time, also because from what I see their are very few posts on this site with actual high results from low budget grows. I could easily place this plant under a 1000watt Hps, but that wouldn't help out all the new budget growers.
