Jerry was smoking fast for me too recently. Curious, did he sell you only 4 COBs? I was under the impression it was a 5x minimum (perhaps the other stuff broke the threshold for an order)?

It's really a dumb calculation, just kind of an ego or benchmark on the fly way of quantifying something.

Veg two clones, one for 1 week, 1 for 9 weeks, flower both out under the equal 1kW lights. "this 1kW is soooo much better, 'cause look at the GPW" lol

It's deliberately misleading on several fronts. Unfortunately, that's an easily calculated standard, so it stuck, no matter how inaccurate.

to fill the same space, you can put 25 clones that vegged for 2 weeks or veg one plant for 2 month.
so the calculations for the veg are not taken into account,
because they way you get there is up to you

don't really know how to calculate if you add lights during flower though : )
that's is a whole thread by it's own probably

This is correct if your growing once a year. But for annual yield the 2 week veg slaughters the 2 month veg. And with a 2 week veg one is most likely not tying up there flower room, where as a 2 month veg one probably is.

this is correct no matter what.
I did not propose that one way is better than another...xd

Gotta think outside the bloom room, bro; with a separate veg space and staffing, you can veg for three months and still run a bloom room with no breaks.

Besides, doing ANYTHING with a bloom room besides actually flowering is a waste of time, space and power.

On a bigger scale its a lot more then you made it sound, but yea thats exactly how i try to garden. Only thing I'm missing is a drying room. My best turn around was 4 days after dry and trim. So really 11 days. Only reason i said its a lot more then you make it sound is because amp draw and space play a huge part depending on facility location.

On a bigger scale it gets EASIER, not harder.
