Going Vertical - 4x4 Tent

Every one of my tubs drains to a central control bucket, hence RDWC.

Decided until I go rdwc, ill just pump the nutes out when i do res changes, rather than have a tap.

Got a few plumber mates to help build any system, but until I'm comfortable with hydro ill keep it kiss. Then if I want to go rdwc, ill have half the stuff there all ready

Just looking Into generators or something for power failures.

Will this pump be enough for 4 or 5 x 5 gallon buckets. I read somewhere you need 1w per gallon.

They'll go for several hours without power. A computer battery backup would be ideal, and you'd only need to run the pump for 5-10 minutes every few hours just to aerate the water. Could go days like that

Sweet our power cuts rarely go more than several hours. Normally just a couple.

No, I run RDWC and use the circulation pump to feed a waterfall in every tubsite. That could easily be on a battery backup as well.

Day 40 . The wwxbb is starting to fatten up and shouldn't be far off. I had to pin heaps of them back against the screen as they started to droop over haha.

Sensi seeds really should update their stats. They say the super skunk is meant to be ready in 45-50 days. Not a chance I say. I've done a few runs now with it and it at least takes 8 weeks. However it won't surprise me if the two ss plants out weigh the three wwxbb

If the temps keep dropping like they did last night ill be able to put that 400w back in. Last night it was 23c with the 1kw bulb.

I wonder if I would be better to add a 400w MH or HPS? I've got one of each.

I'm thinking of doing gh novaflora as its all I can find in the gh range in nz.

I use dry nutrient salts. Company makes a similar product to Jacks hydroponic mix

Pisses me off my timer is fucking up. I'm running both lamps off it. But its internals are 30amps. So it should easily run 1400w. Will have to watch it over the next couple days

The MH lamp is going to be the focus of phototropism in the silo, so I suggest hanging it higher. Then again, stretch is long over so it probably won't matter.
