If you want purple buds you have to go to where the real purple is at.

It had nothing to do with lowering your temps cause most of the time when you lower your temps it just turns the leaves purple not the buds.

IF YOU WANT PURPLE I CAN GUARANTEE YOU THAT YOU WILL FIND SOME HERE:

Sannies killing fields
Peyote purple
Rare dankness rare darkness

Pop any of those and I guarantee you that you will get purple buds. I'm not saying they will be the potent of the potent cause usually purple buds aren't as potent as their green counter parts. Some can be but most aren't. Good luck

Im in Olympia right now. I can give u a cut of my purple og. Nothing special required to bring out the purple... it is a true purple.

Started this little breeding project 5 years ago in California. Purple Haze x og. Stabilized f2 offspring. This cut puts on some serious weight, and requires very little trimming. I went through many seeds to find this girl... but it was worth it. Hundreds of seeds actually...

Sad.....but I think ultimately true.
Could be a main reason why potency seems across the board, average to above average.
Hard to find a truly potent plant.

Ive read other threads about Pakistan Chitral Kush having a purple pheno that turns purple right as the buds come out. Not a high yeilder and the green phenos are more potent, but it's a beautiful plant. The purple pheno goes by Purple Pakistani.

My Pakistan Chitral kush hermaphrodite is a deep purple. I also have a true female PC kush two weeks into bloom so we'll see how she turns out.

Reading "deep purple" just makes me want to buy a couple packs of PCK from cannobiogen. I want all the different phenos too. Makes cannabis soooo much more interesting and a joy to grow.

if you want purple get gooeys purple mayhem or go to svoc and and get csi mendocino purple s1 or purple urkle s1 or the csi/pirates mendo f1 or urkle f1. dont require low temps and are probably the nicest purples.you will find and have good potency to boot. melvanetics buckeye purple is as low on the purple chain i would go my first would be the mendo s1 from csi as most plants turn out like this courtesy of csi and the others just arent quite as dark

damnit! Im so fed up right now. I just ran through some cali connection grape kush because if ya look at the picture on every distributors web site its a purple, like bright purple bud! But not even one purple leaf. Ive run grand daddy plum, no purple. Sour urkel, no purple. Huckleberry kush, no purple. Blue shiva, no purple. Plum, no purple. Plus thirty or so other strains and no purple. The closest i got to purple was with startrek which got a little purple but its gone now in favor of smellier genetics.

Does anyone out there have a strain to suggest for me that's available in seed banks that goes purple and has a decent smell. Im getting desperate here....

There's actually a bunch of strains I've seen/heard of recently kicking out crazy frost but lacking in punch. Interesting for sure.

Trichome coverage says absolutely fuck all about potency, but just about everything grown properly will be frosty.

And don't waste your time with PCK, I know it has colorful phenos, but it has the same problem as Peyote Purple, pretty but that's all she has to offer.

While i agree it doesn't tell everything. Resin production is a good indicator of potency. Sometimes it lies. But my most potent strains are also my frostiest ones.

sickmeds bizarre gives purple in high temps. I mean high temps too. Got a nice purple from purkle berry by cannaventure as well but took some searching and the temps were relatively low.
