I never have been tested but certain sites that I go and work on do have random drug and alcohol testing for employees and contractors. I was on a site not long back, a well known UK supermarket distribution centre, and they had random drug tests, I shit myself when I read about it on the induction seen as I had had a smoke a couple of days earlier at my friends birthday party!
Also a couple of my colleagues got drug and alcohol tested on a nuclear power plant not long back.
Got to be real careful as cannabis stays in the system for around 30 days? I'm fucked for the next 29 seen as I had a few pipes last night!! lol :?
You shouldn't worry too much about it unless you consume it every day

Very rare I have some, had quite a bit over the festive period, but doubt I will be having any for a while. Its a fucker in the UK now aswell because you get drug tested everytime you get pulled, just like being breathalysed for alcohol.

Ugh! that sounds claustrophobic :/
But really, what's so bad about having a smoke now and then? It's not like you're on crack during work or so!

I harvested one Power Kush and the Brainstorm. on the Power Kush mold recently started to develop and it pretty much killed a big chunk of one of the two top buds from the inside. But anyways it looks like it's a veritable yield for two plants and freakishly sticky. I think I'm gonna need to go to work smelling like buds. My hands are unwashable right now lol

funny thing is... the pics I posted were from the runt... the others are not as good... but then again the runt was a multi-awarded strain so it had to fill some big pants which it did to my surprise. Mendocino Purple Kush... gonna get me more of that!!!!

Shame to hear about the mold mate, what a bitch! Can't wait to see some dry pics! Did you make some nice finger hash after the trimming?!

And by the way, time seems to be flying by! Doesn't seem two minutes since you started those off! How's the young un's doing?

I trimmed and dried them for roughly a week and a bit. A lot of the matter got made into butter yesterday and what I'm left with is about 100 grams of loosely trimmed bud. (a meticulous chore for a rainy day)
Expectations not entirely filled but learned a lot and I'd say I'm still pretty much settled as far as medicine goes. :D
I don't think I'll be posting here any more because I'm a lot about work these days. I do however have two little hashplants going atm and I might start a new thread once I have all my things dialed in and in order
til then I'll be watching your threads closely (looking at you @TheStickMan and @calliandra )

Oh YUM!
Still stuff of my dreams (I'll believe it when I see them!), to end up with a bowlful of buds like that! :D

I'm curious tho, what are you planning on trimming off them?
Those leaf parts left look like they're totally covered in trichomes?
Is it the munchies thing I heard of in Kenya? (they were trimming every last bit of leaf off their dried buds, said it was so they wouldn't get hungry).

Hoping your focus on work is rewarding - and to see you about now and then too!

All of them were really frosty... never had stickiness like this before. I owe it all to the CMH bulb, I suppose
I trimmed everything but the parts not covered in trichomes
and after drying I did a quick trim on some of them and used about an ounce of bud and trim to make 200 grams of butter. I gave 10 grams of the poor-looking Power Kush to a friend, and one of the very top branches I completely lost to inside bud rot (I could have cut around it but I decided to ditch the entire branch), and I'm left with 100 grams of bud. In retrospect the yield is not too bad from a 250 watter. AND my friend was flabbergasted by the potency of the most sorry-looking plant.
I can't wait to fully cure the Mendocino Purple Kush because that's so frosty it's practically white... and maybe I'll have a go at smoking it :D

I don't know about the munchies or any trimming technique used in Kenya.. I like to trim closely so I can admire the flowers without leaves sticking out of it.

Next month I am getting a professional tent (80x80 cm) and a decent extraction fan with thermostat and everything. And maybe even make the step to the 400 watt lights. I'm going to run just two plants and water twice a day (drain to waste by hand!) so they get big!!

Looking lovely mate, nice job!
Gutted to hear you won't be posting on here anymore, but I suppose all good things must come to an end eh?!
Good luck with your growing and with your job. Keep in touch with us, and I would love to see the Hashplant journal, so tag me in it once you get it underway!
Cheers mate!
