That happens every Winter. Nothing new. In the Summer Season, the extended daylight and warming keep it at bay. That`s how you know without time and calendars that winter is approaching. Some years a little others a lot.

Now if it drops and stays, you worry. Now if that circle stays more south on our side and more North on the other, you get a major climate change that will fuck up everything indefinitely. That`s real bad. The first few years can`t be counted as, but a decade,...run.

that might happen every winter but its still different to "storms"

the jet stream is more stable the faster it is traveling, when it slows down it is more prone to dip and cause "arctic vortexs"

its the difference in temperature between the north and south that give the jet stream its speed, the bigger the difference the faster the jet stream travels and the more stable

as the arctic warms up the temperature difference between north and south lessens, meaning a slower jet stream with more/deeper dips

That`s very true, but ten years is not a long time in Climate years. After ten or fifteen years, you can point at climate change. After 20, or 30,...you can count on climate change. Any more than that, it is, however small or big.

Remember, the settlers were killed by big snows and deep colds, that was 500 years ago, we still have big snows and deep colds today in New England. I`m sure there were variables in between.

yeah they had storms back then and they had arctic vortexs too

they just didnt know about the jet stream and the difference between the 2

The sky is falling, the sky is falling,....again,... All over the TV,...the sky is falling, the sky is falling.

Reports today are ,get this,...warning of a major snow storm that will hammer the East coast . Predicted amounts are anywhere from 1 to 12 inches, delays, delays, hurry, hurry, go to the supermarket and stock up, hurry, snow in winter is so uncommon that the population will get the shock of it`s life.

It is so fucking ridiculous to hear that an average Nor` Easter is gonna dump a smaller amount of snow this weekend. Everyone knows that the track of the storm dictates rain and or snow amounts out of these every year once or three times storms.

All the major warnings this year and last have failed to meet any standard indicating major event. Last year boston had five feet on the ground, we been there and done that many times,..

..Push, push, push an average event to major status,...Things like this prove how desperate the Climate Change people are,...Such a fucking turn off.

Just so you know, after October, we in New England expect and plan for bad weather daily, if it doesn`t happen it`s a plus.
