Well this came kinda sudden, looks like I am moving to Evans Colorado by the end of January.. After Nellie and I broke up, I moved in with my brother. I was planning on taking over his rent when he moved so I've been saving money up.. But tonight he asked me if I would like to move with him..

So it's a long story that I won't go into detail about, but we have a bunch of friends, that we grew up with, move to Colorado around 8 to 9 years ago, well they asked my brother to come up there and help them out on their new warehouse.. Well he already has a house up there in Evans from the same guy that owns his house here.. So it's a three bedroom with a basement.. My brother said he needed my help and needed to use my lights and stuff..

My brother said I can't work at his warehouse, because he can't lose his creditablity if I fuck up.. Which I understand completely.. I think he is getting his blue card?? It's not the supporter one, it's the full access card..
He said we will share the basement grow.. But I'll have to get my own job..lol

This wasn't really what I had in mind, but I'll roll with.. I should be excited, but really I am not..

Any of you guys from Evans? And what is it like??

I guess the reason I'm not to excited is because I've been growing so long, that I don't want to grow for someone else, I don't want to be told what to, especially from someone with less experience then me.. And growing someone else's strains and trimming their buds.. I don't want to budtend either it's nothing bartending and I sure the fuck don't want be a trimmer.. I like it here because not a lot people know more then me, I've earned my name here. But there everybody and their dog is a master grower.. The only two jobs in the industry I will consider is a hydroshop or a headshop..

And on top of everything weed isn't really worth anything and we are going to be way over our plant count anyways.. And just so I can make any money it's going to have to go out of state anyways..

But if I don't like it, I can always come back home, I am excited about moving to Colorado just for new state and a new beginning.. but maybe I am just being pessimistic.

The rents in Colorado have gone through the frigging roof. Read the Denver paper "Westword".I have lived and worked in Durango, the San Luis Valley and along the Front Range from Denver to Ft. Collins.

All I can say is "Good luck".

Well since Colorado is burnt out , we need to have another state go legal...well shyt all of them !
My daughter lives outside Portland. Even before retail legal went live the rents were going through the roof. Now there are cited studies showing homelessness is on the rise there despite organized programs to prevent that. They are looking at moving to a place over the river and west of Vancouver because of the rents there now.

Honestly I think it a little irresponsible for my brother to move considering he had the same job and house for the last ten years, I only wish I could have his stability.. But I will support him no matter what he decides. Plus he is also my best friend so I kinda have to go, because I'll get lonely.. lol
