1000w is gunna have a high chance of frying your seedlings unless its really high up I would suggest using CFL or the 400w if possible for the first 4-7 days and slowly start acclimating them to the 1000w after that.

yes sir. I have a dimmable 400watt and dimmable 1000 watt digital ballast both Apollo. 1000 watt hortilux super hps bulb. And 400watt Apollo mh and hps

GO FOR IT! Every lumen the plants can take. Try for that 1 gram/watt. With a good strain and SCROG or LST you are set up.

2 weeks from start under a 1000w MH @ 24/0 in a 2x4 tent..... so yes it can be done. Temp will be your biggest problem. 4" exhaust blower and a side clip fan blowing on the plants. Temps in my garage is in the 60's and my tent is in the 80's.

my cooltube and exhaust is 6inch. Room will stay around 80 degrees f. Dont really know how far I should keep light away using 1000watt super hps. Also potting in 5 gallon pots. Grow starts when seeds get here.

I got the light 24" from the plants. If you room is in the 80's. Your temps will hit 100+ in the tent without extra fans blowing in.

temps will be dropping here soon. House stays at 75 degrees. Only have heat problems in the summer
