I've used those little starter coco fibre/ cardboard pots and found the roots struggle to break through them. I'd gently take one out and see if there are any roots through the initial pot.

At what point would you give up on a clone and cut your loses?

Aphids did a number on my Fireball clones, I was able to get rid of the aphid problem but I'm worried they've done irreversible damage to my girls.

They weren't fast vegging plants to begin with but now it seems like growth is at a standstill and the branches are spindly. If I was to put it into flower it wouldn't be able to support the weight it put on last grow.

I had planned on crossing this plant but if it's sick and weak from the aphids could that effect the offspring or will the genetic potential still be there?

I'D worry more about introducing gnats the the rest of the grow tbh BDOG!
They're pest free now and have been closely monitored for the last couple weeks, no more aphids. This was the first time I've gotten aphids, I'm not even sure how they ended up in my cabinet, hitch hikers in the soil? Only other time I've had pests in my grow was when I was given spider mite infested clones which ruined an awesome cut of Cheese.

Yep usually soil is the cause for me. Bagged soil had them in there already and I didn't notice until a few days after transplant.

In other news the Cheese Bukakke is coming down today. Not a bad plant at all and I would love to see what other phenos there are out there. This one seems a straight cross of Dog and Cheese Surprise. I can't wait to dry and smoke this thing! Thanks again BB~!

I wouldn't recommend using a sick plant to breed with. Can you take a cut and try to re start with a fresh clone.
Yea they're big enough to take clones from, I've been told before that clones from a sick mom will result in weak clones. As much as I'd hate to do it, part of me says scrap them, order a pack and look for a new pheno. Stubborn side of me wants to stick with them.

Yea they didn't show up until I transplanted with a fresh bag of soil. By the time I noticed them, they had already done damage.

They should be dry enough tomorrow to check the root situation. I think I might just start over though. I did find some nice soil at home depot, organic care from a name brand, has peat and coco in it along with a bit of starter ferts. It seems a lot nicer, fluffier than the soil I started with now. I might mix in some perlite, Just skip any nutes, and try to be easier on the watering. I understand the concept of watering but the exact method is a bit trickier. I will use bigger pots and maybe just try for the medium being damp, Maybe I can salvage a few of the ones going now.

I'm going through a similar situation. Have a clone of each of two of my favorite cuts that I didn't take care of. Nursed one of each to health and they are growing very very slow.

I can say after about a month now they are starting to grow a little faster. Still spindly and rough though. Always hard to lose a cut/mom you like..

Once the clone has rooted you can easily make it a healthy plant again. The new root system will help a lot. I've taken clones before that look like shut and have turned into decent plants. Your call though bru.

I have gnats at the moment and feel like I got an STD lol, was given a house plant a couple of months ago that had them and thought I had managed to kill them all, not the case sadly.

@papapayne beautiful colours / colors man, hope I can find something like that in my Sourcherry stash.

Deepblue x LIvers # 1, one plant 2 heads, main bud and one on left of pic

This pheno is so loud and really sweet on the nose, dense buds and lots of sugar, all down to the smoke but out of the 3 phenos I am flowering I think this will be the keeper. The cut I have is going into flower soon so decided to take a few cuts.

But then remembered my seed and cuts tent is full...

My next lot to go into flower have filled their tent...

I just ordered DOG yesterday....

I live in Mass..... From the same home town as the MassSuperSkunk-ChemDog Crew......

I am friends with Chem's nephew who he taught how to grow and who just released a new cross. He's been working in the med clubs in RI for a few years and is apperently going to be starting a seed compony and this is his promo strain. I was lucky enough to be gifted 11 F1's seeds from him.

The new cross is the ECSD crossed back into the MassSuperSkunk again... They are calling it Wicked Sour x Mass Super Skunk...

Heres are a pic of the Mass x Sour seedlings from a couple days ago.

They were popped under a 1000w solis-tek 6k blue MH dimmed to 400w... THey go up to 600 satuday after the transplant..

They will be at 2 weeks at their transplanted on Saturday. They are really uniform like F1's should be. All 11 seeds came up and on the same day..... I plan on crossing it with the DOG when I get that going for yet another Chemdog remix.....

Bring on the nanners lmao!!!! :)
