Hello friends. Just wanted to drop a line.
I'm a 1st time grower. My wife is very disabled, and I'm on my way there as well. So I am extremely limited on supplies and funds.
I would really like some help on how to grow inside, or in a garage. With very little money. Also, all I have are some commercial (regg) seeds. I know, that's Shitty. But it's all I have to work with.
What do I need to do to start.? And then I'll just go from there. (with asking you all for advice along the way of course. Lol).
Thanks to all who help. Happy smoking friends...

Thanks for the info. I'll look into it. My only problem is. My wife is very sick (2 different brain diseases +) And with my taking care of her, I can't work. So to start off, i unfortunately HAVE to go cheap. Like, well under a hundred if possible.
I've been smoking for most of my life, for mostly medical purposes. Yet can't afford to buy it anymore. And I KNOW it will help my wife greatly. Much more then pharmaceuticals.
So all other suggestions are welcome as well. Again, thank you...

Sorry. You can't grow indoors with very little money.

You maybe be better off to start with google...there are plenty of websites for beginners....wouldn't you rather do your own research and find what would fit best for you, instead of waiting hours and hours for answers? Literally type outdoor Marijuana grow for beginners

welcome to RIU @Jay Mcmullen
if you're unable to buy your own supply, growing your own is a good way to significantly reduce the cost of smoking cannabis over time, but it does require an initial layout of cash. as others have mentioned, a lot of members here really like to see new growers take the initiative to study this new endeavor a bit on their own and then come here for clarification or to bounce ideas off of in finalizing your grow.
as @whitebb2727's links show and others have stated, you'll need around $200-$300 to get started depending on your grow area(s), etc. at the minimum, you'll need: a carbon filter to be used in a negative-pressure tent/room, a decent light (a T5 is good to get started, CFLs can also be used but i think you end up paying as much for a decent T5 sometimes), good soil, research, and patience.
if you're disabled or on your way, then take that into consideration when planning your room and how you are going to grow: a 5-gallon bucket of dirt with a plant can be heavy.
good luck on your grow.

How do I get started.? What all do I need.? What do I look for to know I'm doing rite, or doing wrong..?
mmhm i have to agree it is best you do your own research i know oyu feel coming here and getting answers is the best solution , but you need to figure out whats best for you and youre family, googling your specific questions and figuring out what works for you

we arent here to spoon feed you were here to be a knowledge based resource and to help with specific things if youre really stumped.

more likely than not when you google youll be redirected back to this website because chances are we have already answered it

wishing you the best of luck,

yes google might hold most of the answers to this guys question but coming on riu makes it feel as though your talking to people face to face(even though your not lol) and getting a response from someone who has read what situation your in and what's the best way to deal with it. plus i would agree with you if he had posted it in the general mj growing, but he didn't he posted it in the newbie section, which i've always thought of as a place where you can ask 'stupid' questions without getting told to google thing's. plus if anything 100% of everything i've learned came from rollitup

Thank you all for the help. I guess I'll try Google. Yet I must say a thank you specific @ cheapgrower2014. Your exactly right. That is why I came here. Not to be "spoon fed" instructions...

This is part of my problem. We are on such a limited income. I never have a certain spending limit...
if you stayed close to me i would have went out my way to help you get set-up but shame that's not the case, can you not ask around family or friends for a cash injection and just say it's to cover bills??. plus don't ever feel like you can't ask a simple newbie question on here that's what the newbie section is for, plus if you look at most of the sections on here then whats the point of them if google has all the answers lol.

If you can do outdoor then go for it! Build yourself an organic super soil and buy a 10 gallon pot or bigger for flowering. Water and keep pest away for a few months.
Good indoor is never cheap. Best of luck tp you and your wife.
