There are so many security reviews now. I even saw a letter the other day that was sent to someone with a ready to build letter and it said they were sent back to security again because some things changed.

I wonder how many will continue moving forward knowing that....
well my sources say there are 25 in now, 18 in waiting 8 on final inspections and 300still under review.
OG-Pharma what im talking about is a 500 pages of threat and risk assement, a detailed business plan, not your application, but another section.
you will be reviewed, then once in final review, you need security checks than 2 more stages of a detailed site review, then we don't get build permits or loi now, they just allow us to built to our application, then a site inspection. once that's done you can grow, then another updated site review/inspection, then product inspections, then HC testing and then final approval for sale.
it will not be a easy market to enter.
if you have a lease or rental of site you wont get in, if you don't have 4 staff and 1 senior staff per room of cannabis your put on the back burner, if your close to any school or houses, back burner,
they do want smaller LPs, they do see a a lot less bs with inspections and easier to deal with.
Hc wants a camera over every scale to verify every weight.
there is a lot. if you have got through the review stage then left for months your on the burner and might not move any were, their way to get ride of you.

i wanted to check out how many patients Tilray had so I googled "Tilray patient count" and it gave a site for Tilray....I thought they couldn't advertise of indicate which strain was used for what. they didn't listen...haha

that would be compassionate so they won't do it.
I think Sam Mellace is/was going to do just that....$5/gr. if he's able to do it, he will need a bigger facility

I know a few guys who will be doing $5-$7 / gram to match CC pricing.
If the CC can have 1000 active patients at $7 a gram then no matter what anyone here says, that's already deemed a reasonable price for a customer base (that's 1000 customers in a subsection of a province, LPs are country wide).
The issue with being country wide is that each province is different. LPs can ship up North where they might be paying $12 a gram, but they're also shipping to BC where they might pay $4 a gram. Where I am, prices are $5-$7 a gram from the CC and the BM and that's what the local LPs are aiming for and they still have over $2 a gram in profit on a small operation.
Just don't tell me they should be doing it for no profit.

i think patients would be on board if LP's took a look at their demographic...most are on fixed incomes so there's no way they could afford $10+ a gram.
and if they had real medicine instead of nuked whatever they want to call it. never tried LP weed and from what I have read, i never will!
I have always stated I think it will change once the issues are worked out. I understand whistler is top notch, but also rec pricing.

so whats the diff in a state of the art site.
most growers don't grow over 100 plants, LPs grow thousands, there is no comparison, it takes time to figure out proper environment levels when growing on very large scale.
maybe they should not start to sell low thc product, they cant be expected to throw all low product out, they should sell for 1$/g instead
I can show you a lot of growers, dg and disp that are not close to par
even the legal states have start up issues, with a lot less rules, they can adjust and compensate faster for mistakes.
don't kid your self, give it time they will as good or better than any of you. some of you cant even grow properly.......
