Did you guys miss the Green Party ladies Omar Khadr jokes?

Yeah she can stay in the fringe thanks. If she can't control herself before she is elected what happens when the pressure hits...?

She'll never live that one down.

If your job was to represent an entire country I'd hope you'd be well behaved.

I'll vote for NDP personally. They have fucked up the country less and been less of a laughing stock. Ask me last year if I would have voted for the NDP and I would have said fuck no but Trudeau really showed his true colours with that terrorism bill. a) getting his whole party to vote the same way, very conservative of him B) the whole I don't want this to be an election issue so I am going to vote for a bill that is unconstitutional.

Why should she have to live it down? It's probably the most honest thing to come out of Ottawa in 40 years ffs...while I'm mixed on my opinion of the situation with khadr, I by no means think she said anything that was untrue...she may have chosen to verbalize it a little different, but every single one of them have fucked up at some point...

i think she is "real"
i would like to see her get more traction for sure, i won't vote for her though...i don't think it would do any good so I feel i would be wasting my vote

man those conseratives did great at putting the 'Justin's too young and not ready' thing into people's heads eh?
:(
been hearing that a lot now. seems their commercials have real life human advertisers now.

fear that's gonna be what causes another 4 years of me being almost ashamed to be Canadian.

how easily people are swayed by the time election comes around;
everyone's pissed and there will be change.. a year from election.
..yet everything stays the same, come election.

i hope we can break this trend, seen it way to often. i have very little faith in the average voters intelligence anymore though.

i just hope people vote whoever has the best chance of defeating a serv in their riding. be it NDP, Green, Lib, or even block.

If the Liberals would go after the ads as blatant ageism they would be off TV. Throw an -ISM on anything and it's gold for the media. They love that shit, next thing you know the CBC is running TV and website spots on do The Conservatives hate the youth?! Throw on a "I've been around politics in Canada my entire life" and Trudeau would come out on top of that situation, but they have been inactive and continue to have the ads run against them. Run a fucking narrative against everything the conservatives run on TV it's not hard. Their ads are already stupid.

Conservatives outline their voting demographic in that ad. Hopefully people flood the polls like they did in Ontario for the last provincial. People are tired of the Conservatives running on attack platforms without any clear plans for the future of Canada. At least I hope. But that's the feeling I get.

"...they have been inactive..."...I didn't expect an 11 week campaign...only the conservatives did...

That particular commercial has been on TV for about a month or more in Ontario. Plenty of time for the liberals to say something or run a counter ad on TV. Thinking about it it's been on since June at least.
