and being the social butterfly that I am, I decided I would pay a visit to our local Hemp store - it's a clothing store in the front and a head shop in the back...anywho.... get talking to buddy because it's kind on been an historical month with regard to the beloved herb and he tells me that they are getting ready to open another shop...I said to him you know what we need here is a dispensary....well eat my socks if there isn't supposedly one of those in the works as well...hmmm..so I asked him how the RCMP felt about him being in town ( he's been here a while)...said the cops have never been in....so someone is about to push the envelope and I just gotta find out who....

and I bought some papers...

Nice! Good news.

Just look at what happens in the states when dispensaries start opening, you gotta look up for the wave.
I bet there is a few groups in every decent sized town itching at the bit.

There is one in Whitewood, SK, (brick and mortar) and someone was advertising one on reddit the other day saying they were opening soon in Saskatoon, called Sask Compassion.

Lets hope MB, SK and AB all move forward on this front, fill in the gap between BC and Ontario.

Also, I've been outta papers for few days as well, not fun.

I thought it sounded like MACROS as well Doingdishes! Haha Alberta has a large vacuum of people wanting "quasi" legit medical cards....someone is going to be making a LOT of cash if they start up before they attempt to shut everyone down...

Problem in Alberta is the doctors. Pretty much none will sign, whether it's MMPR or a form for a compassion club. Lots of stigmatization here still too, especially in small communities.

Nothing has changed in Ontario, with Doctors not Signing.
It would appear that nothing changed except a few patients and a couple reck smokers got added and pushed into a badly thought out regimen.

They've had flavored papers for ever.
Always felt they were a gimmick sold for chicks.
Never been one to carry extra shit around growing up and those things were a dead give away for being searched  although thinking about it now... those things in particular were not around .....
They are a pre rolled cones with flavor added to the tip and paper. A little tricky to fill but fun to pass around. I think that one has the wood tip maybe? I've had them but forget what tip they come with.

Alberta is fucked. In calgary the "city of calgary" is shutting down legal grows. They have a list of grows, they go to them wanting to inspect for mold and safety. They come back with warrants if you dont let them in. They shut them down under the health and safety violations and the homes get a lovely cage put around them.
