I'm just going to repeat what I said in the H&G thread:
Bud XL actually the same NPK ratio [as multizym, 4-0-1], as in it's not a P booster, which is by itself is good to prevent premature yellowing. [from their site: ] "
House & Garden Bud-XL uses enzymes’ processes...." "
contains carbohydrates, vitamins B and E, and plant extracts". It's a bit like using molasses [and superthrive] not for me. The description of it "helping extract sugars from leaves and large bracts" contradicts with the supposed benefits carbohydrate "feeders" propose. [add to that the comments in this thread about 'feeding' carbons and vitamins to plants, except those from PK_boosted lol).
And as I mentioned in that thread, Ca Mg additives aren't needed with H&G aqua flakes or hydro (contains plenty of both) just keep ph 6.0-6.2 occasionally (if you normally run 5.
, or add a little more A than B. H&G actually used to have an article specifically about that on their own site (looks like they killed their articles section...).
Also, you're using aqua flakes instead of the hydro AB, so you already have extra Mg (aqua flakes supposedly has more Mg and Iron making it more suitable for recirculating hydro with magnetic pumps).
