The Claw with curled and dead tips, among other problems.

[/IMG] Hello, this is my first time posting. I've been reading this site for about two years though. I've searched for answers to my questions for HOURS. I'm hesitant to post a "What's wrong with my plant?" post, but here it goes. I have a few that I can't seem to answer my self.

My plant (I only have one this time):
-Bag seed. Really killer bag seed that I have grown before.
-4 Gallon Bucket with MANY holes drilled in the bottom.
-150W HPS Light
-Fox Farms Happy Frog Soil
-No Nutrients
-Distilled Tap Water ( I was lazy and didn't PH the water until last week. My runoff was 5 and my tap water starts at 8 . Runoff has been 7 since then.

My biggest problem right now is the state of my leaves. I'm getting The Claw all over, and I have been for quite some time. Flowering started 2 weeks ago. It started before that. I make sure to let my soil dry out pretty well before I re-water so I can't imagine that it's over watered. I haven't fed it any nutrients so I doubt that it's Nitrogen Toxicity. Also, the tips of the leaves are crispy and brown as well as curled up like an elf's shoe. So they claw downward and then curl back up tightly. The farther down on the plant the more prevalent this symptom is.
I'm seeing evidence of a pest. The leaves all have splotches where it appears to be missing a layer and it's silver and shiny. Other leaves are covered in shiny black specks. I've inspected the plant for bugs and found none. I've looked on the underside of the leaves too.

Another question I've had is about my plant being stretchy. I understand that plants stretch to get to the light. I understand that MH is better for veg than HPS. I've been growing from start to finish with HPS this grow and I kept the light within 5-8 inches it's whole life. My last (first) grow I vegged with CFLs and it was less stretchy but still VERY stretchy. If you can't tell in the pic, it's about 6' tall now.

My final symptom is that it's a Hermaphrodite. About 80% of my bud sites had pollen sacs right next to the flower buds. I've heard that stress causes this, and I'm not discrediting that. However, my first grow I made a ton of serious newbie mistakes. I planted 3 seeds and got 3 ladies, no balls. This one sprouted balls e'ry where. WTF!? lol

I just want to keep this plant healthy enough for me to harvest as much bud as possible. (I'd rather have seedy shitty herme bud than none at all)
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

no pics? Would be helpful if you did. First thing I noticed is that you said she is six feet tall.... with 4 gallons of soil, it's most likely rootbound fairly badly i'd presume.
It may be stretching due to the lamp, my guess is the bulb is probably old, I don't know much about the 150w but the 600 and the 1000w bulbs need replacement each year, at minimum. Compound that with the issue of the 150w just plain being a weak lamp, lumen wise..
My advice, without pics, is to do the following.
Get at least a 400w lamp. preferably one you can swap a MH in for vege and a HPS for flower.
Need bigger pots man, a six foot plant should have at LEAST a ten gallon container, my rule of thumb, is two gallons per foot of growth. Especially if grown in soil organically.. which you are.
I can't help ya much with the hermie prob, just get a good magnifying glass and a seat, and pick em off, if you want to keep the lady

Sorry, I was in the process of adding pics.

I wasn't trying to grow a 6 foot plant, it just happened. The last round they were all about 25"-30".
Can I repot it at this point? If so, can anyone describe to me the process?

The store I frequent has a Sun System all-in-one lamp that is both 400W and 600W and is MH and HPS capable. I'll probably buy that for the next round.

Man, that IS a plant. It's not over ferted. Did you read my post? I haven't used ANY fertilizer. It's already flowering. Why would I junk it if it's my only plant AND it's already flowering? Rob, I really hope that I never come into your shop asking for advice. Or I hope you're so high right now. Ha. I really don't know what to say.

I'm just saying that it's been flowering for 2 weeks and I already have sizeable buds..... I'm gonna repot and keep going. The last 3 were just as stretchy but about 3 feet tall and I got an ounce off of each....

For the life of me I don't understand why people think that it's not worth it even if it were to be 6 grams.... That's still like $100 worth of bud. It's better than nothing. This isn't my business, it's a hobby.

Thank you everyone for the help.
