Hello Rollers, I currently live in Socal where were not so friendly or open minded about having some delicious plants growing in the back yard. I was thinking about moving up north but im not sure where to move. What towns are weed friendly? what towns can you get a decent lot of land for a decent price and not have to worry about getting busted?

decide what your max amount your willing to spend on land and a house. that should help you zero in on where to look. search craigslist for your budget amount and that should show you areas to visit.

If I moved back to California I would move to the Central Coast around SLO town or Arroyo Grande or Nipomo or Santa Maria. It's a bit pricey but the conditions are ideal for growing. I would build an 8 ft privacy fence and if I were back in Santa Maria I would have a greenhouse for sure since average summer temps rarely go over 80*. I had a next door neighbor grew some nice bud in a makeshift greenhouse last year I was there. Just some furring strips and plastic sheeting. I only recognized what he was doing because I knew him and I had done the same thing years before. I was off the cannabis at the time.

All of California is the same imo, I live in SD and sure the cops are assholes, but so are all other cops in the usa. If security from cops is your issue then get a greenhouse with a lock, keep plant count to 12.

The Central Valley is among the best places in the World to grow weed. I saw my first 16 foot plant in 1967 in a cornfield in the delta.It stuck out like a sore thumb, but in those days, no one was looking.

I know a couple of guy's who scored major rentals, off craigslist or by word of mouth. Don't be afraid to put an add on craigslist describing exactly what your looking for......this place is a rental, complete with greenhouse & solar system & well & tractor......the rent is a little steep, but ???
