that wld be sweet to not wear shoes for weeks. it's like Mother Earth giving ya a foot massage.

co's actually sell lil mats that you plug-in to get grounded, Haaa. Guess this naturally occurs ONLY if we sport bare feet on the ground. How was it? (I'll read the first post...) There are supposed health benefits to this, perhaps beyond the physical foot massage.... 'the grounding' hmmmm. have you heard any such thing?

I've been workin on gettin my organic soil to yield more, anyway im more about flavor and health.

how long ya been growin grinspoon

Exactly! It was like mother earth giving me a foot massage.

Really? I had no idea about the lil mats lol that's cool. Im learning more about how it affected me just by talking to you guys hahah. At first, it was crazy, everything felt new. After the first week though I think my feet finally got aligned with my spine without wearing shoes, that was the hard part. I would wake up with back pains after a week but I started to use salts in the bath and that started to help. By the 3rd week though, I had a thick enough sole that all the pain started to go away. I have never heard of the grounding...but it makes sense now - having had pain a little in the start, I think our bodies are so used to the shape of shoes that when we start to walk bare our spines have to re-align again. Something about that re-alignment is what i think made me feel so much more connected to earth. That was the #1 thing I noticed when I was not wearing shoes; I felt so much more connected to earth and everything around me. Sounds so hippy but it's true. Things stressed me out less when I realized we were all small things compared the universe and we are so lucky to be breathing every second when the sun can turn us all into a sunday bar b q.

Look, this is day 5;

Day 5:
Running, while barefoot is best felt
when I leap side to side, forward, while
I have my knees bent. I actually go
faster.
Omar asked “How's the no shoe thing going?”
and I smiled “Excellent!” and soon I'll
be ready to discuss with him my journey.
Walked in alley for first time at night. Through
practicality, I let Alex walk in front of me
as I held his shoulder. I let him walk in front
of me so he would step on any foreign objects that
would hurt me. Success. Friends have started to
distance themselves from me. They have separated my ideas from theirs instead of accepting and enjoying both ideas of society, for there is no right or wrong.
This question makes them fear me: What if we
lived in a society without the ideals of Religion, love, hate, money,
right, wrong; but just the human living with
the human?

I use organic soil myself. Fox Farm, its awesome, I suck at growing hydro, soil is just add water and that's it.

Grinspoon has been vegging for around 3 months and flowing for about 2 months, I am still gonna let it go for another 2-3 months :D She is already almost 5'6 tall! I am gonna have to bend her around to let her get light in my 6 foot tent but the light goes up to around 5'7-5'8 so I don't want her touching the top light. I use a Pro Grow 180 L.E.D and it works amazing guys. Seriously. Have not had any probs with it. I love it. My tent never goes above 88 degrees on a 100 degree day outside. I know it's not perfect, but that's where it's at and the flowers have been gracious enough to do just fine. I have to say though Utopian Haze is looking so damn beautiful. She really releases some fat ass buds. I mean gorgeous. Smells so nice. I want to cross the Grinspoon with Utopian Haze and a couple of other strains to call it Dr. Grinfork. Then cross that one with a bunch of other pure haze strains and combine that with chronics to make a Dr. Grinknife. My goal would be to make the happiest smilliest strain out there, nothing but haze and chronic uplifting strains that force people to smile hahhaahah who knows when that will happen though.

Oi!

I heard that too and wasn't expecting anything but I wanted to see what a beautiful Sativa Heirloom looked like and to my surprise, the buds are huge! Hairy! Spiky! And they are growing everywhere! I have to show you guys.

Thank you now!

THIS IS ACTUALLY THE TYPE OF SHIT THAT YOU JUST CAN'T PLAN OUT FOR BUT YOU END UP GRATEFUL THAT YOU STARTED A POST YOU MIGHT HAVE BEEN SHY OR AFRAID TO START! ROFL!!!!!!!!!!

That's exactly how I looked running barefoot for the first time. Like a drunk galloping horse figuring out how to use their legs for the first time.

1:39 on the video is actually how I started to write the transfer of my journal entries to paper back in 1914. LOL!!!!

lol that's actually a good deep pose. I actually went without ballet shoes during my ballet classes. Yes, I took ballet classes...forced to during my studies at a Theater Arts School. I wore shoes twice for a brief moment during the whole journey. Once when I had to be an actor for a Police Academy, which I ended up taking them off and leaving the off after our lunch break; no one noticed after that. And a second time during a few ballet classes. Ended up with a D in that class because I kept refusing to wear ballet shoes.

I got banned from my favorite Sushi restaurant for not wanting to wear shoes. The head of the Theater department threatened me on a constant basis to wear shoes but I never did. Got kicked out from a gas station, but was still able to buy my subway sandwich before I left...lol I got a stronger sense of intuition and my main goal was to always defuse any threat before it got out of hand. It was a Gandhi approach mixed with MLK and Rosa Parks.
