Poll:

When you order what do you order? And why?

I personally will do normal if I have the space, otherwise fem ensures my time isn't wasted with a plant that won't do anything for me. I have personally never gotten a male plant though even when growing normal non femmed... guess I got lucky?

My first seed I planted was a girl, she's couple weeks in flower. My second seed I found with her sprouted a couple weeks ago. Hope that's a female! I havnt ordered seeds yet but I'm interested. I rather have fems or autos because it just seems easier, but I'm ignorant to the hype of GMOs and the autos being genetically modified? Idk lol. Still researching

AFAIK autos arent genetically modified, rather they are crossbred strains with ruderalis plants which introduces the auto flowering trait. Due to ruderalis' low thc levels the autos will usually not be as potent as their "regular" versions. (ie white widow will be more potent than white widow auto) But alot of people seem to still get some great weed with autos.

I dont have alot of space to work with so I get feminized seeds. Only have enough room for 1-2 plants at a time, but only enough light for one really.

Nice to see replies going. Yeah autos are no where near as potent as some named phenos. They are better than growing a bag seed of non estimated thc content though.

I use em to go while I'm vegging then by the time the phenos half done they r ready to harvest

Some people swear by the regulars instead of fems, because they give better results. If you take cuttings regularly, you can root a cutting and sex from there - tends to not be AS MUCH of a pain. I don't do much cutting, so I tend to stick with fems just due to the hassle factor of regs.

I want pollen, to make my own seeds, should I wish I can then feminize my own plants with some diy colloidal silver, no big deal, like much of this ...its FUN!

at least with normal male and female seeds you don't get no fucked up genes, that have been noticed on many posts here and elsewhere!

I use to grow using normal seeds back when I was very interested in cross breeding to create my own strains but now that I have an insane amount of seeds, I strictly grow seeds that I have feminized myself to prevent any unwanted males from showing up.

I myself grow a mix of reg & feminized. My main reasoning behind running both is breeding purposes along with pheno hunting, not to mention its allot more suspenseful running "reg" ;) Here is a 4 way cross of mine. She is now in F2. K.A.S.I. She made Hightimes this months issue.. KASI!.jpg
