Yea drainage and airation are important to root health and development. Supposedly the perlite is for better moisture and coco for better drainage and airation. I used 75% FFOF, 15% Coco, and 10% perlite. It's been working great for me so far. I also drilled a few extra holes in my pots on the side to allow for more oxygen to the roots.

Day 49: well I didn't think It would be this small by dad 49 but its not a big deal to me. I wish I wouldn't have topped a while ago because now my top growth looks really weird. I notice a side growth was covering a main leaf and when I moved the leaf I saw what was under it was yellow which I didn't know happened. Also, some of the newer leaves have light green almost yellowing edges, does anyone know why that would happen?

What type of light are you using for 12/12. M just wondering cause the color of the light looks the same. You should use lights with 2700k. That will put out a yellow hew type of color. I switched mine to 12/12 11 days ago. Notice the difference in the color of light?
these pics are at 43 days. They have prettying tripled their height and doubled their with. Try another light spectrum and you'll have better results. Also it looks as if you have a mute deficiency too. Might want to check pH or possibly flush if you are giving Nutes. Best of luck man!

Day 57, day 3 of 12/12: I added 4 23w 2700k CFLs and took out my other 6500k lights. The growth seems good for now but a few leaves are kinda dying here and there. I haven't given any nutes yet at all so it might just be the FFOF is hot or it could be because I use arrowhead water, idk. Well here's some pics. BTW, nice looking plants Enterprse

You may want to start feeding at 1/4 strength now that she is in stretch mode, if it was me I'd stick to veg nutes all through flower. Dyna Gro foliage pro specifically, but it's your call bro.
And before you ask...yes she will flower just fine without the high P bloom foods, it's a hormonal response that triggers flowering..not bloom foods...

I agree. Best thing I ever done was learn how to use a combination of both blue and orange spectrums. It increased my bud sizes and harvest weights. Not bad bro, Im in kinda late but I read thru the thread. Best of luck bro, Ill keep checking In

yeah, I got skywalker OG and Holy grail going, I really want to add the kandy to my collection....the skywalker and holy grail are great strains. Im positive the kandy is too
