LED's may be expensive but the amount of lumens per watt they put out is great

Advantages:

1) Lots of lumens per watt (upto 135 lumens per watt)
2) UFO designs are usually small but powerful
3) Usually full spectrum so no need to change the lights

Disadvantages:

1) Expensive
2) LED's can change color overtime depending on age, quality and temperature.

Those flat black cases.... Are you talking about the original SGS-160 prototype? That's just dark grey, almost black primer.

All the new cases are white. The new series in a few months will be sporting a new color. Haven't decided what yet, though it won't be black. Won't be white, red or silver either.

Is that a 5000k white and a 620-630 red? Interesting...that's the most blue of any of your panels, ever, right?

"XTE 5000K
Blue : 31% power, 26% flux
Red : 11% power, 13% flux"

Posted by SupraSPL as per Mr. Flux's calculations.

5700-6200k

It's been a while since I've been this blue heavy. Combined with the reds though, the entire blue is less than 20%.

I thought about putting pictures of ice cubes on them, you know, to make them run cooler.

Flames will just cause heat stress to your plants...

C'mon racing stripes....that bitch is gonna be FAST.....!

EH please look at post #38, been trying to connect in very possible way since we spoke over the holidays

Beginning to feel it's intentional

Did you send any questionable emails? Spammy in nature? Maybe CC'd me in any emails you sent to more than 1 person? Maybe with no text, just a link, maybe looks like spam ;)

People don't like those kinds of emails. Those end up in the unforgiving abyss that is my spam folder.

No, although I did send a picture of my high end audio system after we discussed head phones

You reached out to me to do an 'all white panel thread on IC back around Thanksgiving.

No matter what A51 email method I tried (or PMs here) no response until today.

Please PM to continue conversation

I'm still in the process of looking/researching as much as possible before making a substantial investment. I'm not inclined to wait around for a51 to have product in stock either nor I'm I interested in a 75 watter. What's catching my eye at the moment is the Kind, yes I know not a cult following on that light but all lines appear blurred with led's anyway. I might even go the Ebay route and find a company that ships here in the US as it looks like there's awesome deals to be had on there.

The Kind is supposed to put out decent PAR numbers and would serve you much better than anything on Ebay.
Ebay + LED = Short Lifespan

Almost a month later and after reading and researching night/day...hell I'm just as confused as I was before. Nah just joking, but there's a lot of info to digest and like I've said all along I just want to get the best bang for my buck.

So, I've narrowed my choices down to these bad mutha's:

1. Apache Tech - (1x) AT600, at a cost of $2400 or $2000 as I've heard through the grapevine

2. Area 51 - (4x) RW 150, at a cost of $1920 - Only thing I'm worried about is the first week of April ship times.

3. BML Horticulture - (1x) Spydr 600 Grow-Max, at a cost of $999 - A late entry into the LED madness. I really like how you can space the LED bars to the width/spacing you desire. You can even adjust the angles by swiveling them. The bars are 36" and seem to be able to lay out a very even footprint.

Any last minute recommendations are always appreciated
