the NL is smelling a little weak, there isnt much smell from here unless u agitate the buds then its a bit fruity, the exo however is stinking of cheese cant wait for a taste of her, got thrips on the exo tho so im trying to get rid of them just now little buggers that they are.

heres how the 2 young girls in the clone tent are looking today, ive not really paid much attention to them for about a week or so, they got their 1st feed in a week today and i decided to start traning the exo, the PP was already trained but i have bent back the new branches on that as well 2day, going to get more soil 2morro so will be re-potting them into 10L pots they are currently in 2L pots, once repotted im gonna veg another week then into flower, also got a load of clones in the prop that have just started rooting so will be getting some of these potted up and some posted out,

you like to crop from near the base of the branch gary or half way down or is it plant dependant? as in how each will take it?

maybe it was how i put it gaz, just asking if you have a preference as to where on the branch you choose to crop them, (the slight bending of the branchs) the middle or more to the bottom of the branch, its hard to tell from the pic`s, but theres a school of tought on the recover time, the midle takeing less time to recover and the crop being more effective than cracking them at the bottom... hope that explains a bit better...;)

ahh i get u now m8, i bend the branches about half way down the stem and use metal wire i bend into shape with pliers to hold them stems down to side o pots, ive never really noticed much stress this way they normally perk up towards the light again by the end of the day they were bent.

does that make sense and answer ur question or am i still way off?

no thats it dude, just when i seen the pics i had to ask, i normally just roll the branch between the fingers until it softens enough without totally breaking, also they point upwards by days end, but your way does sound safer... i have broken a few while getting used to cropping...hahahahaha...

sorry for the head wrecker of a question but i`m a little stoned myself hahahahaha....

thats kl m8, ive snapped my fair share as well at times, its easy done, i try not to squeeze the stems tho i just gently fold it back and tie it down.

tbh m8 i am still battling against the lower yellowing on 1 of the PP plants all others are fine now, i have upped the N in her feed and moved to allow more light lower down buts its not making much difference, as long as she makes it to harvest i'll be happy tho,

View attachment 2951290 took a lil sample off the NLB the other day been drying in the tent above lights for last cpl days, its just a little airy bud from a low down branch but its actually pretty nice considering its only had a 2 day dry and no cure, the rest when chopped after another week, with a proper dry & cure shud be some tasty strong smoke :)

really good seeing the progress of your plants mate, Im starting in a few weeks i have all the equipment, its actually gonna be very simmilar to yours, but i will only have one tent and one strain, only using one light. At what stage did you start trimming the bottoms of your plants? Really good job im hoping my plants turn out like yours but cause it would be my first grow i seriously fucking doubt it Ha
