There are four plants that have been veging for two months. All four plants look OK, but not great. They all seem to be growing slightly different. This is probably because they are different seeds or because they did not have proper lighting for the first two weeks. Iam going to lay out all my info and go from there. ALrighty then... All four seeds came from bags of really good stuff, but not sure what kind. I have a 100w HPS and a fan. I am also able to open my window and get fresh air circulating for at least half the day. I have been using Fox Farm grow big at 1/2 strength every other day for the last 2 weeks. I transplanted all four plants into the bigger pots that you see now the same time I started using nutes.

In plant # 1 I made the mistake of transplanting it into miracle-grow moisture control soil. This was the only plant that I put into MG the remaing 3 were transplanted into a local organic soil. (dont ask me why I did this) Now it is the only plant that is showing the extreme burn marks on the leaves. The leaves are also a bit dry and crunchy on the very tips. I am not in panic mode yet but would like to cure this problem ASAP.

Plant #2: this plant seems to be growing straight up and the leaves seem to be making a "taco" shape. Also Plants 1 and 2 were positioned closest the light so maybe this they are sun-burn?

Plant #3 This plant was actually planted about a week before the other three. It sprouted and had some immediate stretching. Now the bottom leaves are slightly yellow and growth seems to be stunted, or at least drastically behind the other 3.

Plant #4 God I hope this one is female. This one seems the healthiest. The last couple of days I have noticed that the leaves seem a little "droopy". Nothing I am too concerned about, but if this is an early sign of something I would like to catch it ASAP.

So Im guessing I have room for imrovement.... I want any and all advice. But if you are guessing or baked at least let me know.

Kill them all and start reading, if thats vegging 2 months, theres something horribly wrong.........

Whats temps, ph, used any nutes yet?

Go read man those are bad for 2months....bad.

2 months, but only 2 weeks with adequate lighting. The first month They sat by a window the plants are not dieng. They are just lacking something. I am using fox farm nutes, nut only for the last 2 weeks.

Stoped Nutrients today. Could the older plant need more nutrients than the other?
I think tha best thing u can do is not feed it nutrients for awhile and see if they get any better. and if they do..only do a percentage of the nutes. tht should make u plant healthier.

temp is 75 PH is unknown. I put them in new soil yesterday. I need to by a ph meter and a ppm reader. How much are both of those?

If u would of started with more light i think they would of been big enough to support the nutrients given to them.

I am using HPS right now. Any advice for better light at veg-phase that would be simple and cost efficient? Will it effect the flowering by not giving it enough light at the begining like I did?

hps is good just dnt have it too close so tht it will burn the plants tops, and i dont think it will mess wit ur flowering any as long as u give it about another month of veg.

First off go to the GrowFAQ and do some reading, that would be most productive.

As for the plants, I say get some cfl's and put them under 24hrs light for a month and see what developes.

If you go and read you will find out how to grow those puppies.

no you need to get the ballast and bulb that match or it wont work .
just go buy some cfls to add to your grow room . it would bee cheaper to do that way .
