OKAY PEOPLE.. THE TIME HAS COME!!!!

i HAVE BEEN FLUSHING FOR A WEEK NOW, AND MY LEAVES ARE STARTING TO YELLOW... NO I HAVENT CHECKED THE TRICOMES, BUT AT THIS POINT I NEED MY FUCKING CLOSET BACK, AND IM DONE WITH INDOORS, TIME TO HIT THE OUTDOORS WHILE I HAVE TIME.

A FEW CONCERNS....

Im going to cut the plants in the dark, under my green party light so i can see... i heard when you do this, it locks in extra resin or sumthing, so im giving it a shot.

The room im drying in, is the room i grew in... after i clean up a bit, i'll have plenty of room for drying... my only problem is, my temps dont get any lower than 80F. I dont have any real means of ventilation, besides cracking the door, but i know you cant let light degrade the buds. I have an air purifier, so im not really concerned with mold, only worried that the temp and humidity is goin to degrade my cannibis ANY SUGGESTIONS ON KEEPING THE TEMP AND HUMIDITY DOWN???

A dehumidifier maybe???

Hope to hear from someone soon!!! :hump:

The small amount of light coming thru the crack in the door isn't going to hurt anything. Hang your buds and just run the same ventilation you used for growing. That Aussie guy Mog on Youtube dried 9lbs of bud in a tarp on the ground...outside, I think any decent effort you make will be fine. Congrats on a successful grow.

Thats good ta know... imma keep the door cracked at least at night to keep a good air flow in there... i think the last thing im worried about is mold... i have an Air Purifier in the room set on low, so at least my air is clean.

The air purifier wont fuck up my buds would it???

Heres a few pics... i have more, but gotta getem off my otha cam

I cut em in the dark under a green light (heard it locks in resin) and by god i think that was the right move... I had to clean my scissors 3 times because the resin was overwhelming the blades!!! (i gotta pic of it)
I'll keep ya posted!!!:joint:

:blsmoke:heres a few more pics of the "now drying" product...

The first pic is the biggest bud i have... didnt weigh it, rather be surprised then let down... i'd say the whole top cola is about 7 grams

The picture of the scissors is mid way through cutting, the resin built up so much i had to wash em before going any further!!!

The other pics are the tops parts of the other plant... growth had stopped due to heat stress, but the buds are bigger than i thought, and they smell oh so lovely:mrgreen:

All in all, im proud of myself... first indoor grow with the AEROGARDEN and i owe all my thanks to you guys... (the great Jorge Cervantes as well)

Not too bad from mid grade bag seed huh...

welll... so far so goood.. i plan to keep this thread alive until that glorious moment where i sit down and light the fruits of my labor...

The temps in the closet are a surprising 78 F... I think after i cleared the room of all those lights and shyt, it brought the room down to its normal temp....

Still have 2 fans in there (not blowing on bud) and my air purifier... buds are getting soft..

QUESTION...

I have smaller buds in a laundry basket... they are gonna dry before the big one naturally right? Jorge Cervantes says 5-15 days... i wantem to go for 7

yeh the smaller buds will dry quicker, they have a larger surface area per actual volume compared to the bigger denser buds.
bit of chemistry here...
the larger the surface area the quicker the reaction rate.
in this case the reaction is the moisture evaporating from the bud, plus the smaller buds will hold less moisture than the larger ones.
7 days should be fine:mrgreen:

So if i let the main colas dry a full 7 days, the smaller buds and popcorn buds would take how long??? four or five days???

Jorge say "dont dry the buds to fast... stems have to snap"

So if the buds get nice and dry, and the stem still bends instead of snaps,
should i moisten the buds up a little??

No no no. if the buds are looking nice and dry but the stems are bending and not snapping you probably still have a little moisture left in there that you shouyld wait till it evaporates.
just go by feel and touch, but yeh the smaller ones will be ready first.

gotcha.. last i checked the buds were nice and crispy on the outside, but stems are still bending.. i took the popcorn buds that were laying in the basket and put them in a jar... these will be my test subjects while the big buds are drying... so no matter how the bud feels, DO NOTHING UNTIL THE STEM SNAPS?

yeh u got it, It's not a strict rule that the stems have to snap but it is the general rule of thumb.
the more you wait(i know it's hard) the better your bud will be and tatse as well.
