Mr. Heads Grow's

So I've been here for a while figured I'd make a place I can throw up some pics and have some incriminating evidence on the internet, cause I mean why not right?

We shall start at the beginning, last August is when I started growing under a few CFL's in a 2x2 tent. First plants I grew were PureAK. The pics start in December, why not leave them a time line too right?




And of course there were issues I was using tap water which I later found out to be 450ppm and 8.5PH.



Needless to say I was hooked The quality of smoke was better then what was around and growing plants was awesome. I messed with this AK with varying results up until my last harvest. So after running CFLs and getting about 1.5 dried a plant I was ready to go throw down on an HPS setup. Then the real fun began. The pictures will get a lot more yellow from here on out



At this point I was saying FUCK THIS TENT GOD DAMNIT! My whole closet was dominated by the tent anyways.



This will be all that I will be posting for now. I have more shots elsewhere that should cover the blue mystic auto I did and some more AK shots. This is just the beginning of the journey, time to find some mothers!

Nice thread Mr Head. Looking forward to seeing more pics. I ran some hybrid AK47 last year that were amazing.

Well it's Monday, and my seeds still haven't moved. Another day to wait I suppose. Here's some pictures.



This was my 12/12FS grow with Vision seeds, this is their Big Bud and Northern Lights. The NL was a real nice smoke but is very prone to mold, it does get massively dense heavy nugs. Another user in a completely different environment then myself also had mold issues with this strain and threw out a good deal of finished weight. In the year I've been doing this the NL gave me the biggest cola I have seen, sucks I had to throw out half of it to Bud Rot.

I plan on doing more 12/12FS in the future as it's a nice way to keep plant size small and still end up with a decent final weight. I have a lot of regular seeds, after I sex this group I have in veg now and veg them till mid November-early December I'll do some 12/12FS

So I think my seeds got snagged. They have been at customs since the October 3 so I think I'm going to forget about the LVBK as they are sold out at the 'Tude now. Right now I'm sitting at 50/50 with foreign orders. I've got 1 through from the 'Tude and one through from another bank. Also had one snagged from each, so I think I'm going to stick with the domestic banks and breeders from now on. Tired of waiting on something to arrive right away to run it immediately only to have it not arrive and it be too late to start something new with my setup.

I ordered 3 packs of Med Man Brand after reading a bit about his strains and him as a breeder. So I'll see what I get from his lot. I got Lady Bugs Bubba, Conkushion, Orange Kush, and some freebies. Dudes gear is $40 a pack right now. I have no idea if it's good, but at $40 for 13 beans I can afford to try his stuff.

I'm really looking for a top shelf Bubba, one that will blow my socks off, one I can keep around for years on end without wanting to get rid of her that's my hopes. I was going to do a little showdown with the Sincity LVBK Compared to Med Mans and later on Cali Cons and Humboldt's. I guess the LVBK beans could come but it's very unlikely

Nah, I'm in Canada. We have stupid laws regarding seeds. They are illegal but no one ever does anything about it. It's a silly situation.

I just threw the HPS in the closet hooked up the vents and gonna veg the rest of the weekend out with the HPS and flip to 12/12 Monday get what I got in there flowering. So much cleaner then last time, I just need to make my carbon filter and get 1 more six inch fan and I'm gold. I had good results with my last home made carbon filter, just want to make it a little bigger and a little better

I've contacted the 'Tude and they said that I should wait till the 25th and if it's not there we'll go from there. I'm refreshing the tracking page 50 times a day hoping they'll move and they are just delayed due to us just having thanksgiving up here.

Well my Med-Man Brand seeds got here and holy shit that man doesn't mess around with freebies

I ordered 3 packs of seeds. 13 in each pack and got 3 full packs for free. So 39 free seeds on top of the 39 I paid for. I'm set for a while, not even too upset if the attitude order doesn't come now.

So in the future, probably not so near, I will be running Conkushion, Orange Kush, Lady Bugs Bubba, OG kush X Skunk, Skunk, Special K X Skunk. I'm going to have an extremely stinky room by the sounds of it. Back in the day we used to get killer Skunk. late 1990's early 2000's I'd say. Since then they have pretty much left my area and it's been dominated by Kush's which seems to be the case a lot of places. I am interested to see how his straight skunk compares to my memories

The worst part of having all these seeds is I don't have room to run them until after the New Year has begun.

The THC Bomb's I have in there now are really starting to stink. They get the 12/12 flip tonight. This organic soil sure makes em smell purdy. My OG Grape Krypt clone (top of another plant) rooting, has those little white stubules on the stem when I pulled it out the dirt so maybe another day or so. Seems I have way better results not using hormone. Seems filling a dixie cup with dirt (promix with mycho) and shoving it in keeping it nice and wet seems to work way better. Maybe the stuff I got is trash, dunno. Won't be using it anymore. When I was using hormone I was seeing a lot of yellowing of the clones very quickly from the leaf tips back. Without it my clone is nice and green and looks just as healthy as when it was attached to it's mother (*hopefully). The grape still hasn't shown sex but I am optimistic.

What's up party people, it's been a minute since I update this sucker but better late than never. I was waiting till I at least got some pretty in there. My soil mix is working amazing on these OG Grape Krypt's, things are green and getting covered in gooeyness Flowering started on the third. Right now I'm keeping things as simple as possible. Teas are about 1 tbsp molasses, 1 tbsp bone & blood meal, 1tbsp of gaspian sea weed,Scoop of soil to 4 litres of water bubble for 24 hours, 48 works too, any more and it smells like death met farts and fucked all night. Have just stopped with the high N blood meal and will be just bone meal sea weed and molasses. I'd put the soil mix in here but honestly, don't even remember the ratios i'd have to find my little sheet and good luck with that Was super simple. No fancy shit, just stuff at Home Depot with a 10lb bag of EWC, which I am going to get another bag of to add to my teas.

If things continue going this well I think I found my prefered method of growing




THC Bombs were male, it's all Grape krypt and clones from the one seed I popped. She's looking like a good yielder with a nice amount of trichomes, rubbin some leaves has a nice smell sweet with a bit of a kush backbone like im looking for. So hopefully it's potent as fuck and it will be a great Christmas/New Years present to me and a buddy.

That little clone station kicks the shit out of anything I've tried. Pack 6-7 jiffy pete pucks in there and rooted with no problems super quick.

I'll post a couple more shots of her tonight, the crystal formation is at a staggering pace over the last couple days, I hope it keeps up.

I'll be doing another tea feeding tonight and i'll try and grab some more shots tomorrow. They seem to respond to the teas over night. Loving this way of growing.

Sounds like a situation we have in the US. Pot is illegal in most states, yet EVERYONE smokes it nation-wide. What a stupid ass situation indeed We jail more non-violent "offenders" than any other nation on earth because prisons are profitable. I'd move to Canada any day if it were feasible since your laws are still friendlier than most states in the US.
