Is too much LED likely to cause problems?

Hi all,

First time grower. I am wondering if you put too much power (watts) with LED's in a small 1 - 2 plant grow room are any problems likely? About 60 cm squared by 1 meter tall grow space.

What would be the recommended LED wattage for this space?

Also is the best reflector for LED's flat white paint?

Hope I can be helped. Much appreciated.

Well too much light is only a problem outdoors. These indoor lights wont produce enough to have too much

Ive never heard of to much light for a plant period. lack of humidity plus high heat is a problem. but there could never be to many lumems. lol anything unabsorbable would simply reflect off the plant cells.

lol i did terrible in school, but if it concerned weed, plants or anything that i could apply to growing, i learned it.

its basic, you cant harm plant with to much light intensity. Plants dont get sunburns. they do get heat burns tho

I would suggest scoping out the LED and other lighting section, some good peeps in those parts

Alot of worry went around about LED Bleaching, but that was too much BLUE light in the leds, from what I understand, LED's have become another "high powered indoor light source,"

I feel like originially it's directive was efficient...quiet...ran cool...eh. Now it's about umol/watt

Remember to give yourself enough head room, people really underestimate how much some distance can help (some ilghts will stunt too close, some wont) again, check out that led sub forum, there's a lot too learn.
