What up RIU!

Here is 6 of my AK-47 babies and they are smelling like crazy right now! I need to run out and grab a new filter. I am running an flood and drain with optimal environmental conditions. What is everyone's thoughts!

SWEET dude, def gotta follow this 1... What size tray are you using? And how often you feed?

Thanks for the comment! It is a 3x3 tray but the screen goes further in case. I am feeding for 25 mins increments every 4 hours. I am running 24/0 at the second so that is 6 times a day. Roots are filling up under the tray. I have a 20 gallon reservoir. I keep the res for 2 weeks at a time. All R/o water.
 
Cool, I'm running same system, feeding schedule.. Got a bunch of XXX early skunk clones going, thinking of running 5 per tray. They're good producers and only looking to get 1to2 zips per plant. How long veg time do you think i should give them?

AK-47 from serious seeds is a very slow veg plant initially. Plus, it has a low leaf-calyx ratio so there isn't a ton of leaves compared to other plants. These plants are 6 weeks old from germination of the seeds.
On that note, I would say for your clones you may only need two to four weeks to reach a screen 8 inches above your medium.
 
Cool, they're bout 10in now, and i made sure to take cuttings that already had multiple branches and nodes.. Most average 4 to 8 nodes.

Ya, you might only need to 2 weeks. If they are that tall and healthy at the moment you should top the plants above the 3rd set of nodes or 3rd alternating node.
 
You might need a second screen above the first one since they will stretch considerably

other than that theyre lookin good!

I topped all 6 plants and I plan on LST'ing them to get everything even hopefully all the side growth through lst will allow it to stay shorter. They are only 8 inches tall right now.

Damn these things are stretching like crazy. I am trying to control the amount of stretch by LST'ing every shoot that gets too tall.
