Best Medium for clones

What do you guys prefer to use in your inserts for clones? Are rapid rooter grow plugs the way to go or is it better to use the medium the cuttings will end up in when they are in pots? Also, can anyone link me to a good post about cloning? Thank you.

7 days, the one purple puck is a different strain from the others.

I've always stuck with rock wool and humidity dome seems to work for me, good luck!!

I never had problems with using rockwool ( just make sure you soak them overnight to adjust the pH) and using a humidity dome in the past. Type in cloning on thie sites search engine and there are many tried and true ways people utilize to clone successfully.

I will also use rockwool in a netpot, in a small coffee can. i usually toss a few hydroton in the net pot to keep the rockwool from being to close to the water levels.

No domes. maybe for a very finiky strain like cheese or something like it.
